Great video 👍👾🥽. You should make another video describing how to scale the actual AR camera instead of the object. This is really good practice if the developer wants to keep all their content scaled right in unity but still give the user and option without hurting their game.

Oh that’s a great idea, I actually did it that way and didn’t like it hehe but yes I agree, I will do another video in the morning for the entire area.

Hey Dilmer, have you tried recreating the project in newer versions of Unity (such as 2021.3.25f). I'm making a project and I wanted to implement scaling the same way you did but I just can't get the per object scaling to work!

Thanks for your question, I haven’t but have you consider using XRI? it has object manipulators built-in for AR and VR, take a look at this docs.unity3d.com/Packages/com.unity.xr.interaction.toolkit@2.4/manual/ar-interaction.html

Hi Dilmer, This is Arvind Reddy P. I'm trying to make an AR app Which detects the wall and adds the colors to the wall. So far I have done with the vertical detection and I am unable to write the Correct/proper code for painting different colors on the wall. So, can you help me out. Thanks.

Great video as always! Need to ask tho, I am facing this issue "...error CS0246: The type or namespace name 'UIText' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)". How do I resolve this?

Did you add a “using UnityEngine.UI” to the top of your file ? Hopefully that helps :) best to you

Yes you can accomplish this by implementing a timer and decrement it by a time delta, then when it reaches 0 allow touches with a bool, otherwise don’t allow it. If you want I can make a video let me know :)

What languages does one need to know for developing AR usually

Currently you can use C# and C++, either using Unity3D or Unreal Game Engine :) you can also use Magic Leap with both of those engines :)
