Diluc Weapons Comparison and Rank (ft. Thousand Blazing Suns) | Genshin Impact

*For Redhorn* To make it kinda complete, I did a calculation for Redhorn based on the Builds used for the Video and result based on Genshin Calculator (Redhorn is using the same Build as every non EM) however, take it with grain of salt because its not personally tested, solely rely on what's shown. Here are the result: 1. In Vape: it Ranked 2nd below Blazing Sun above Rainslasher. It performed slightly better than Rainslasher, but still noticably worse than Blazing sun, even NAs (Redhorn buffed by passive) are lower than Balzing Sun. (Blazing Sun does 104k N1, Redhorn does 97.2k) 2. In Melt: Same result as Vape with roughly 4~10% Difference. But still performed better than WGS. 3. In Plunge Vape: It placed 3rd. it performed slightly worse than Blazing Sun in DMG (305k vs 318k) And in 5x Plunge setting (using same rule as the Video) it does VERY slightly worse than Blazing Sun and Rainslasher. But realistically speaking, Redhorn will be better than Blazing Sun in DPS if Furina is on the back. 4. In Plunge Melt: It ranked 2nd. The difference is simillar to Traditional Melt (Redhorn does 331k vs Blazing Sun 356k x3 + 321k x2) HOWEVER Unlike Vape, 5x Melt setting is the most realistic situation due to slower Application so in Melt Blazing Sun is realistically better than Redhorn, more so if we count the DMG after Bennett's dissapear because Blazing Sun can reactive the passive by casting Q after the 5 or 6 Plunge.

Some things worth mentioning: - Same build was used throughout the test, changed to appropriate one when necessary (Plunge) - The First Plunge DMG in Furina Team sometimes higher because Xianyun is still under Bennett's Buff when the first Plunge land a hit - All the Calculation is based on actual fight scenario and NOT "theoretical best scenario" With exception of Furina, since the ideal way is to Plunge Spam and squeeze as much Hits while buffed as possible with Her as enabler due to her somewhat chaotic application.

​​​@@gripnsip4429Only at high refinement. It's stats is still far way below thr likes of Redhorn, Beacon and Blazing Sun to outmatch them at R1 even given the CrR advantage.

Credit when it's due, Mailed Flower despite mostly worse than WGS is a beast for being a 4 Stars Weapon so it deserve that spot. Also I can't be biased for this kind of Video lol Though assume i am, I'll be putting WGS in Redhorn place AND Sacrificial in place of Mailed Dlower. Nothing can beat Drip and ultimate Unga Bunga experience after all

I dont understand how to work his team. I dont have furina or citlali. But c6 xingqui and often i feel i am missing out most of his rotation in bennett xingq kazuha and diluc team

XQ + Kazuha is a bit tricky to handle even if you know the basic "How to" Due to XQ wet sword. The general best method to make use of them is by using XQ Skill last before swapping to Diluc, after Kazuha done swirling, so the rotation goes like: XQ Q > Bennett Q E > Kazuha E Hold > XQ E > Diluc

The ideal weapon, in my opinion, is one that has a lot of Crit.DMG% and El.DMG%. The ATK% is useless if we are playing with Bennett. And I don't see the point in playing without Bennett, because without him I see a lot of losses. Perhaps the situation would have changed if a character giving 100% Crit.DMG had come out.

No. Accoring to Genshin Calculator, Redhorn still loses to Rainslasher in Vape, and only slightly above Mailed Flower / R1 Serpent Spine in Vape, losing to Blazing Sun in DPS. For context: Redhorn does 305k in Vape vs Rainslasher 309k vs Blazing Sun 318k (3 Plunges) 291k (2 Plunges when passive is gone) Basically still loses to Blazing Sun in DMG (both team) and DPS (in Melt) as well as Rainslasher in DPS within 5x Plunge Setting or when bennett and VV is up. More so if we count the DMG when Bennett's buff is gone.

I've playing genshin when the mailed flower events, untill now diluc is one of my favorite characters. What a pity i missed that weapon when i was at low AR and didn't know anything about genshin. But on raiden and kinich banner i've got kinich weapon. I feel like there's no different comparing kinich sign em sands with rainshasher atk sands on vape team😂. Should I consider to pull redhorn when it get a rerun?

Hoyo really should start rerunning old Events that features Weapon. Or at least allow player to obtain the weapon through different means. Better not unless you plan to play Plunge since Mountain King is practically equal to Redhorn in traditional, only worse in Plunge. If anything, you should be getting Blazing Sun instead of Redhron since it has the potential to overtake Redhorn in both DPS and DMG. Though still don't make a good investment since you already have Mountain King.

Not necessarily related to the point of the video, but as far as I can tell, Citlali plunge seems to be slightly better than Furina plunge. Would you say this is accurate, or does it depend? How much of a difference do you suspect C1 Citlali would make?

This is accurate for Mid And High Invest team. In 5 Plunge Setting (doable with proper setup) Citlali Plunge Melt can already outmatch Furina variant by more than 20% within the same time. Considering majority of Bosses and Enemies generally die within 6~7 Plunges, Citlali variant would do better in most cases even at C0R0. More so in Multiwave becauae Citlali doesn't have that awkward delay Furina has upon switching Target.

According to numerous sources, Yes. But based on my own calculation, at R5 it's still worse than Rainslasher in Vape, and worse than both Redhorn and Blazing sun in Melt. This might because i don't utlize the extra CrR from Friitful Hook, but i'm not really sure.

Interesting, thanks for video. What do you think of Citlali as solo Cryo application in Trad Diluc Melt without Cryo infused Anemo app? I'm having problems with Pyro overtaking unless waving really carefully and slow and sometimes using N3 to not get too much Pyro again

How you did your setup? If you used Citlali last and Her Q is the one that proc the Ice Storm, Diluc should be able to do either EN2EN2EN2Q or EN1QEN3E Since its doable with C6 Diluc, it should also be doable for nom C6. You can also check my Citlali Guide, I've covered a Solo Citlali with N2E combo in the Sacrificial Section.

Simply use Her E and Q after Pyro Swirl and Skip the initial process from Sac rotation, so the rotation goes like: Bennett > Sucrose E N1 > Citlali E Q > Diluc OR Bennett > Sucrosr E > Citlali N1 E Q > Diluc

​@@jafaroffmusic7876just do a ttods citlali rotation (one caveman mentioned) tho it can be done however you do the rotation, you simply need citlali to use her burst last before swaping to diluc if you watch the guide, you can see he basically did a ttods rotation because he only used citlali skill once...

Verdict requires Crystalize to activate the passive, so essentially it's Blazing Sun without passive. In which it'd perform even below WGS and Redhorn.

first passive increases 20% attack, blazing sun increases 20% attack + 20% crit dmg, so i think its comparable to blazing but -20% crit dmg

​@@skyflakes145Ah my mistake, I didn't notice the Dot in the first sentence of the passive so i thought it also requires Crystalize for the 20% Atk. In this case, yes, it'd be comparable given proper stats, more so in Plunge teams.

About 8% increase based on Calculator so not really much. For context : Unforged does 310k with Plunge without Her signature, 339k with it and 321k with TFD.

How Practical is TBS in Plunge? I already expect it to win in Traditional Team, but toally didn't expect it to actually OutDMG Rainslasher that even Redhorn and Beacon wasn't able in Xianyun + Furina to afaik.

It's only tricky in Furina Team due to delay and time constraint before She remove and reapply Hydro. Or in Rosaria due to Her slow rate. Everywhere else it's mostly minor inconvenience.
