This song was a bit odd for me. Let me explain:
When I first listened to it, I was expecting the traditional Franz Schubert's "Ave Maria".
Instead, what I was delivered up was a surprisingly wonderful collage of vowels sung by Dimash and arranged in a completely different kind of way.
As I think most of you know, I'm a big Dimash fan, and I appreciate his interpretation in this piece. As I continue my Dimashathon, I have more to come and much more to say about this brilliantly talented young man.

He is a vocal god ! I Heard this Song live in Düsseldorf. Perfektion. Flawless. It was nearly an out of Body experience for me. I thought about my Dad who sadly Passed away. As I Listen to this Devine piece of Art, It was like my Dad holding my Hand. Telling me: Look this is How its up Here in Heaven and I am Waiting for you. I was very Moved By this, to say at least. Dimash does this with his voice. He evokes emotions and takes you to another World for the duration of a song.

Schubert's Ave Maria is the one that comes to mind first because of its extensive ceremonial and liturgical use. This new Hail Mary vocalized masterfully and wonderfully by Dimash is an original work by the great musician, composer and pianist Igor Krutoy, (as most of us know very successful businessman, and wealthy show business entrepreneur, a tip for those that don't know him). This one is not even similar to the classic Schubert or Gounod which are the best known. Although it bears some resemblance to another (of the many Ave Maria's that exist), the aria by the Russian composer Vladimir Vavilov (sometimes erroneously attributed to Giulio Caccini), it is neither a version, much less a plagiarism. Krutoy composed it at Dimash's request. The fact that it doesn't have any letters is also very striking. I think it is a hymn to unity and harmony among human beings. A way of saying that no matter how we worship God, we can all be saved and enjoy the Divine Glory. And if it is sung by someone whose voice and presence suggest being before an Angel, the message is even clearer. It's a beautiful work dedicated to the mother of Jesus created by a Jew and sung by a Muslim. Something very significant and also symbolic in my opinion, one more proof that God has chosen Dimash as Messenger of Peace, although perhaps he doesn't know it himself.

Thanks, Ken, for doing everything you had to do to deal with copyright and still bring this analysis to youtube. I can think of only one other vocal coach on youtube who could conceivably dare to duplicate what Dimash is doing here on these phrases. But SHE is a soprano and a professional opera singer. She also reacted to this video, but didn't provide nearly the technical analysis that you did. The fact that you not only sing these phrases, but explain the techniques being used makes you one in a million. I'm glad you spent so much time on Dimash's vibrato in this piece (and compared his command to the legendary Maria Callas, wow!). For years, I've been asking and hoping for someone to do an entire video on Dimash's vibrato, with clips from different songs where he's using a huge variety of vibrato techniques. I know you don't particularly take requests, and this may not be a popular one anyway, but his command and control of vibrato is, for me, the most fascinating technical aspect of his voice. At any rate, thanks for making my day with this analysis.

I've always thought this is such a beautiful, melodic piece and performed by Dimash just stuns the listener. Dimash was very new to me when I saw one of your videos on him in the past. Thanks Ken, you are a great vocalist yourself. But it's a pity that you missed the most important moment in the song, its finale. There is a great example of how well Dimash controls his voice, holding the key he changes the volume. Very rarely, even I would say never, I have never seen singers control their voices so carefully and accurately as Dimash. And I have not seen anyone do this with a vowel, usually in vocal lessons during training they give the task to hold the vowel and change the compression. Спасибо Кен, вы и сами прекрасный вокалист. Но очень жаль что вы пропустили самый важный момент в песне, его финал. Там прекрасный пример насколько Димаш хорошо контролирует голос, удерживая тональность он меняет объем. Очень редко, даже я бы сказал никогда, не видел чтобы певцы так аккуратно и точно владели своим голосом как Димаш. И я не видел чтобы ктото так делал с гласной, обычно на уроках вокала во время обучения дают задание удержать гласную и менять плотность звука.

He's always moved my soul from 2017 when I saw him perform SOS on the Singer competition in China. But, this one was in a whole different way! I cried the whole time and I sent it to everyone I know and said that if this is not what we hear when it's our time, I'm not going!! I REFUSE!!! LoL 🤣... Dimash is on a level, heart and soul and everything else that I just cannot see us seeing in our lifetimes! I just honestly pray that what he told me back then will come true someday...I told him I dreamed to sing with him one day and he simply said, "I hope your dreams come true!"
