3 REASONS THIS SONG WILL GO DOWN IN SINGING HISTORY: 1) he starts without any pitch cue, meaning he has to depend on his perfect pitch to bring him into the song-if he misses, there’s no covering it up, so it’s super risky, and he does it effortlessly 2) he sings that whole song on one vowel (the “AHHHH" sound he's using), doesn’t close his mouth for the length of the performance, and never once touches or uses the microphone/mic stand for support 3) THAT LAST NOTE. Which is a 15 second Messa Di Voce (placing the voice); a very ADVANCED singing technique. Basically you crescendo and decrecendo a note, with only the volume changing-no pitch change, or vibrato change, or tone change, etc. Then, he just lets it fade in air...it’s one of the biggest vocal flexes I’ve ever seen in my life-A MASTERPIECE 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 🦌🇨🇦💜🇰🇿 Great reaction 😘❤️

Yes, I haven't seen anything like that before, but I think he'll do it better and put a pause before the last note differently, not so dynamically, we'll actually get a state of absolute suspension (weightless, you can say). I don't know if anyone has ever written something like this (for that you need a performer like Dimash. Maybe Sumi Jo with her beautiful sweet soprano - who also worked with Krutoy for so long - could also reach these heights, I don't see anyone else. I'm waiting for a studio recording or the next performance, because Dimash will definitely improve it. Absolute cosmos. It will certainly join the canon of the three previous Ave Maria, but there will certainly not be many performers out there who can do it.

Thank you, brothers! Dimash is super accomplished in operatic technique. That ending note where his voice grows louder and then softer is called "messa di voce". There's no audio technology involved...that's his real unaltered voice performing one of the most advanced vocal techniques. Also, great opera singers don't use technology to filter out the sound of their breathing. You will only hear them breathing when they want you to hear it. Dimash's breath control is one of the 8th wonders of the world.

Dimash is a phenomenon from Kazakhstan. He started singing lessons at 5 years old and was found to have perfect pitch. He is University educated with degrees in classical and opera, another in contemporary music, pop, and jazz, was a major in Vogel technique. He also completed a Broadway musical master class. On June 18th, 2020 he completed his masters specializing in composition and received his master's with honors having achieved the maximum score of 100%. He has since started his Ph.D. Dimash is a perfectionist and a workaholic. In interviews on Kazak TV, he stated that he wakes up at 5AM (7 days a week). By 5:30AM he has begun doing 3 hours of vocal exercises (scales, arpeggios, lip bubbles, etc..). That is before he even begins his workday in the studio or at rehearsals for a concert. To improve his lung capacity and breath control, he will either swim laps in a pool for 1 hour uninterrupted or hit the treadmill for a 5k run. Sometimes, he will substitute that for a full-on 90 minute soccer match with his mates and their team. (He has good ball skills as you can see here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oaXCnaKhhL9_jdk ). He doesn’t drink, either! He will often work 12-14 hour days. He says he hates vacations. Dimash is the real deal when it comes to showing how hard work and dedication will make you succeed! He currently has a vocal range of over 6 octaves but he is humbly dismissive of this astounding fact and stresses that it is not the amount of both arrange you have but in fact what you do with it. He has won many prestigious awards and is a decorated national treasure in his native Kazakhstan. He has performed songs in 12 different languages. He speaks fluent Russian and Kazakh, some Chinese and is pretty good in English and Is still studying it along with Mandarin which he says is a difficult language to learn but he's doing well with it. At 22 he was invited as a wild card to participate in a Chinese singing show for professional singers. The show catapulted him to relative stardom worldwide and he became a pop superstar in China.

Igor Krutoy (composer and friend of Dimash) revealed the creation of the composition "Ave Maria" for Dimash, a composition that is included in the new album (music. I. Krutoy). The last note also if you check he his moving his hand like if je was holding a ratchet and make a half turn cause thats exactly what he did he was doing vibrato and then he tune back he cordes like a guitar strings and its staight out the sound automatic that was very impressive you dont see that often. his voice is simply the best but what captivates me is the way he moves his body and hands, it's like he's painting with his voice. a video you might enjoy is his performance of drunken concubine/diva dance with li yugang. li is a chinese opera star that specializes in nandan, a style where men sing the female soprano leads. they study both how to sing in a soprano voice and move as a traditional chinese woman would move. it's amazing how two such different styles blend so well.
