Not Dimash's song ...would have to get Igor's permission...and that surely would cost a pretty penny in order for that to happen. (Try upwards of $10-25M) for an opening ceremony song. They will probably commission a Japanese composer to write his/her own opening and closing ceremony song(s).

He and Igor are extremely close - this song was written by Igor specifically for Dimash, for His range (which is 7 octaves in this piece) and for the opening ceremony of the European Games in Minsk where He first performed it and has been performing it at every one of His concerts. I don't know that it would be that difficult to 'get permission' if He was asked and chose to sing Olimpico ... God knows that no one else on the planet can sing it!

He's one of the richest people on earth, worth - according to Forbes - 13 Billion dollars (yes, with a B), and came out of retirement just to create songs for Dimash. The thing about Dimash is he does so many different genres. Igor Krutoy is a famous Russian composer that wrote this song specifically for Dimash, this song and others. I think you guys would love Dimash's cover of Lionel Richie's Hello, because he does something very unique as well as his song Know, vocalize where there are no lyrics, just his voice. Great reaction! Maestro Igor Krutoy wrote the song for Dimash to perform in 2019 at the opening of the 2nd European Games in Minsk. Interesting to note: Igor is a master composer, pianist, and music mogul (Forbes estimates his net worth at $13 Billion). He retired at age 60 in 2014, but came out of retirement in 2018 to compose songs and accompany Dimash on the piano. You will see him playing for Dimash in many performances.
