Liked your reaction. Yes, Dimash is not only university trained in classical music, one of his degrees is in Jazz and comtemporary music. Remember he loves MJ, and here, I felt that he is also channeling the likes of Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder. Just saying. Love the jazzy modern rendition on this Kazakh folk song and his brilliant transition from traditional dombra to the keyboard. Dimash is simply amazing.🥰
