Wonderful reaction. Dimash was a child prodigy who began voice traing at age 5. He was about 23 in this performance. He is classically trained as well as trained in pop, rock, and jazz. He has more than a hundred videos in KZbin. Keep watching. Dimash technique is as close to text book perfection with his own twist and each is an emotional roller coaster. Most of his videos have English subtitles, or if you would rather just to enjoy the voice you can just listen him singing. You can learn a lot from his technique. He experimented a lot with multi genres - multi styles - multi registers within a same song (even within the same note!)

Mr. Lopez is making the rounds. Nearly every reactor I see had this record from him. Good on him for promoting Dimash. He does not sing in whistle tone in this song given that his voice sounds like a human voice rather than a whistle. At the end it looks like he’s taking the sheet music and laying it on the stage. This performance was in 2018, he was 23/24 here, he’s now 29. You should hear what he sounds like today! Easily THE greatest vocalist of ALL time with his over 7 octave range.
