If the world was only allowed one singer, it would have to be Dimash as he can reach all the notes on the piano, sounding like the deepest make voice to the highest female voice, singing multiple techniques, multiple genres, multiple languages. Every song is a surprise, plus his stage presence is awesome. He was born to sing.

With Dimash you don’t need to know the lyrics. The vocals convey the emotions. Words not required! I don’t speak Japanese, Chinese. .Korean, French, Spanish, Russian, Kazak and many many more languages Dimash has sung in! But he manages to stir and pierce my soul. Love, admire and respect him. Dimash said in one interview that he sings for anyone who loves his music, that to me is the definition of a Dear. Dimash calls his fans Dears because 'they are dear to my heart" on a trip to India not too long ago he was asked why 'dears' his reply, they're my family. it's hard not to love Dimash, he really is a wonderful human being with so much maturity and kindness to all. the dears are testimony to his love for all peoples regardless of race, culture, beliefs. he just wants to bring a little bit of happiness into our lives. so welcome to the global family of dears and thanks for this reaction dear! xo

I believe I failed to leave a comment on your first reaction to Dimash, but I loved it just as much as I did this one. You mentioned the passion of his Dears and I know that I am not the only one of them who has been music obsessed for all of our lives but who put virtually every bit of the music that was so important to us on the back burner ever since discovering Dimash. These days its all Dimash, all the time----in my case from wakeup time to bedtime, and then singing his songs in my head once I get into bed and try to get some sleep. To say that Dimash's song and performances have taken over my life is putting it mildly. I would donate a body part to sit in the front row at a Dimash concert, but all the young girls always seem to be able to beat us guys to those seats!

You are absolutely right that Dimash is not only high notes..and low notes. All the little details he has in his performances are so interesting. You never know what he's going to do because he always does the same song in a different way. He is so charismatic that you can't help but follow his every move. I hate it when they label it dramatic. I prefer emotional. I have watched more than 200 of his performances and there is not a single one that is not done with the necessary emotion. I found Dimash in 2017. Since that time I do not go a day without listening to Dimash. I listen in the morning, as I clean, as I cook etc. I flew to New York to see him live in concert even if I had to fly in the day of the concert and right back out the next morning. It was so worth it. Dimash is just different. His fans I think are far more than just fans. He has treated his fans with such respect and love and add to that his family has done the same thing. All the way to his beloved grandmother who thanks his fans for loving HER Dimash and praying for us. They are the most respectful and lovely people and Dimash does not waver from what he was taught. In turn, he has the very genuine love of his fans who support him totally. There are fan clubs everywhere but more than just fan clubs. The Chinese fans have paid for billboards in Time Square for his birthday to promote him. Fans do charity work, raise money for schools, medical supplies etc, all in honor of his birthday every year because that is the kind of behavior if you will that he inspires. If you want to see who he is, watch some of his interviews. They have English subtitles.

I love the way, just before he sings, how Dimash immerses himself both mentally and emotionally into the song. By the way, this video does include cc for English translations, even though no one really cares about the words, only the voice. I don't care how many times I hear this song, it is at the end that I remember that I need to breathe. It just seems to penetrate my body and goes straight to my heart. Yes, I do hear the little nuances of Dimashs' singing. Like you, I always thought of him conducting himself because of his hands. Then at the end of the song, he has to take a moment to come out of the song and back to reality with the rest of us. And again, it is a joy to be able to share Dimashs' amazing talents with you. "Ikaniade" is one of my favorite performances by Dimash. Even though the meaning of the words may not have meaning to us, because we feel it from him, they are important to Dimash because he expresses the meaning. Of course he also inhabits the music and it lives in him. He expresses it through his facial gestures and body language because it's real for him. Dimash is a blessing I'm grateful for every day.

He IS the best vocalist EVER. You would not doubt at all if you experienced him live, I mean LIVE live, just once. It is not only about his unique, devine voice, his body language, his emotions. There is so much more a camera fails to record. His strong, captivating aura, the emotions he stirs and his interaction with us dears. The unity we feel, coming from sooo many different continents and countries and singing together in Kazakh ... There is one more concert announced. Get a ticket! You'll never regret for sure. This beautiful song is one of my favourites of Dimash's. He is the best singer in the world today. I have recently seem him live & he is just as good, if not better live. Yes, become a Dear! We have the best time going to concerts& getting to know each other & loving our amazing Dimash.

Kōji Tamaki is a Japanese singer-songwriter of Ikanaide and Dimash performed a previous version in Chinese called Autumn strong kzbin.info/www/bejne/fIm0ZmuLYqqXmsk this song is based in a true story about Yoshiko Yamaguchi who was born in China, hid her japanese heritage under a chinese name, became very loved. After WWII, her heritage was exposed, she was arrested, accused of being a japanese spy, and sentenced to death. She was ultimately cleared of charges, but was advised to leave the country, as she risked being lynched. Dimash is a master of the story-telling, his voice makes you feel deep emotions and takes you there where that song happened. Beautiful!! A Japanese reactor mentioned that his softness with the hard consonants is a function of how well Dimash understands and has learned the mechanics (tongue and jaw placement) of the Japanese language. @9:14, Ahhh...even his humming is absolutely 😢...I have been lucky enough to have found Dimash when he was on the Singer Competition Show in China in 2017 when he first started it with SOS, he'd just turned 22yrs old and I've followed him since. I have always said that I didn't think that I could have a favorite by him...Then I saw this and idk why but it definitely is! But Dear, you have to go back to the singer!! There are some performances on there you'll never get to see or hear anywhere else! And I could rattle off probably 30songs right now for you to do! But, I won't. 😅 You absolutely can be a #Dear! Hijo de una soprano y un cantante pop famoso en Kazajistán, tiene oído absoluto, estudia música y canto desde los 5 años, se graduó en canto lírico y contemporáneo (le ofrecieron cantar como tenor en la ópera Astana, pero prefirió hacer carrera como cantante popular), tiene un máster en composición musical, está haciendo un doctorado en musicología, multi instrumentista (toca 8 instrumentos a la perfección), canta en 13 idiomas y te llega directo al alma en cualquiera de ellos, tríeme un registro de 7,7 octavas!
