Dear Sohum, I would love to give you 10 thumbs up for this beautiful reaction, because I LOVE this song and version so much, and you say exactly what I feel about it! The instrumentation and arrangement is sensational (his friend Erlan Bekchurin is responsible here I believe, he is the best arrangeur), the climax, the backing vocals by Dimash, his VOICE in general... , and it is indeed the most beautiful love (goodbye) songs... 😭💝 Just perfect, everything, and soo emotional. I always love when Dimash sings in Kazakh, and since it is a turc language as Turkish is, they sound similar indeed, so your idea was very good and very close! 😉 I listen to this beauty for 5 years, in the evening when I want to sleep, it is maybe my mostly heard song from Dimash. 🥰 Thank you Dear, so much!

It's definitely in Kazakh. I've always thought it was one of the most beautiful songs Dimash has ever sung. He did sing it in his Bastau concert as a duet with his teacher but this slower more jazzy version is by far the best. It always made me cry but I've only just read an interview with the actress and she recounted some funny stories from the making of it which now make me smile when I watch the video especially when she reaches over his shoulder because apparently she missed and poked him in the nose and they had to stop filming for a while as both of them were laughing so hard. Plus the fact that when he lifts her she kept slipping through his hands because of the satin dress. 🤣

Sohum, another incredible reaction. A favorite of mine despite it being heartbreaking. I remember first time watched it with tears starting right away. When Dimash pulled out the ring, I was sobbing. As you said who would ever leave Dimash?! You gave me insight to the instruments that add a new layer as I listen to it. ❤

This is really a very lovely, intimate, warm yet sadly longing song. He sings in Kazakh. Contrast this version with the same song he sang in his Basteau concert with an opera singer who has supported him since competition time. It has a faster, jazzier sound. This version exudes emotions more fitting to the lyrics. ❤️ I liked your comment about the comparison to Love of Tired Swans...I thought the same the first time I heard it. I learned, after those two songs and many Dears' comments, that swans mate with one for life and the lyrics suggest this love from Dimash's character. That instrument I believe is a duduk...an Armenian instrument he features in a lot of his songs... especially noticeable in KNOW, New Wave version...and also a beautiful fancam of an Armenian song he sang at his Armenian concert last year, where he mimics the sound of the duduk at the end...song name, I'll Die For The Wind of The Mountains, link provided below. Sounds like a Dombra was added in the mix, too, providing a nice contrast with the other instruments, something I've noticed he does in quite a few songs that don't feature, say, a Dombra solo. You know, one thing that stood out for me in my early weeks discovering Dimash was his band, or even the orchestra in his songs. They play such an integral part to the mood in each piece... like you can tell where he's going with his vocals or just before his vocals come in with the instrumentation. I always found that so fascinating...the instrumentation is so synched, like an extension of his heartbeat in the song's evolution.... hard to describe, probably a weird observation 😉 Anyway....I love your reaction to this video....and most of all, your comments. Love seeing how his music affects you, too. Great reaction. ❤️ From what I've read, Dimash had another song prepared for the Armenian audience at his Yerevan concert last year, but after hearing this one, he prepared for this one and this is his presentation. Hope you like it. I'll Die For The Wind of the Mountains m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/mF69foGgg7WbeK8

Not Turkish, but a Turkic language, it's Dimash's native tongue, Kazakh. The instrument is an Armenian Duduk, a sound that Dimash loves, it's in several of his own compositions. Nothing at all to do with Igor Krutoys' "Swan" song. It's just that Swans are known to mate for life, and therefore, the title reflects the loss of one's hoped for life partner. Dimash, being the composer of this song it's a complete separate entity. Dimash works as the music producer of every song he sings, he also chooses all the instruments and instructs the musicians how he wants them played. It's a lot of work but as a completely independent artist, he does as much as he can to make his visions come to fruition ❤

Love of tired swans is a Russian song by Igor Krutoy. This a Kazakh song and has nothing to do with the other. The idea of associating swans with love is because these birds mate for life...

👉 Duduk is the name of the wind instrument you hear in the MV. It is the Armenian national instrument, one of the oldest instruments known to mankind, and its music was declared an intangible UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2005. The Duduk has been playing in today's Armenia and the Caucasus for over 1500 years. The Duduk is a woodwind instrument made of apricot wood (short oboe) with an extremely large double reed that is up to ten centimeters long and up to three centimeters wide. The Duduk makes a thoughtful and melancholy sound. The soft tones emanate a magic that casts its spell over and over again. The unique sound of the Duduk has now fascinated the whole world. The legend of Duduk: The young wind began to play with a beautiful tree on the mountain, wonderful sounds flew over the mountains. The prince of the winds was annoyed by this and caused a great storm to rise. The young wind tried to defend his tree, but his strength was not strong enough. He fell at the feet of the prince of the winds and asked him not to destroy the beauty. He agreed, but at the same time punished him: 'If you leave the tree, it will be destroyed'. Time passed, the young wind got bored and rose once into the sky. The tree died, leaving only a branch that was hit by a gust of wind. A young man found this branch and cut a pipe from it. But the voice of that pipe was sad. Since then the duduk has been played in Armenia: at weddings, funerals, in war and in peace. (www)

Wonderful reaction, Sohum. Yes, this is such a beautiful and heart wrenching song, because the young lady chose to go with a Sugar Daddy (the older guy) who bought her paintings instead of staying with Dimash. My heart was broken when he pulled out the ring.... He was going to propose to her. Yes! Who in their right mind would leave Dimash?! Right?! But OK, this is the story in the MV, so. But in the song, as heart broken as he was, he still wished her to be happy as she left him. Incredible acting by Dimash, BTW. He sang this one in his native Kazakh. Love of Tired Swan was composed by Igor Krutoy and Dimash sang that one in Russian. Lara Fabian also sang that song, but in yet another language (French? not sure). More Dimash, please.

Hola Sohumm from Spain 🇪🇸. He escuchado todas tus reacciones a Dimash y no podía parar. Fusiona Funky, Pop y Rap. Además otra vez se puede apreciar la capacidad para actuar de Dimash. Tendría que hacer una película !!. Esperando tu reacción a Be With Me, me despido. Love & Peace. Fátima

The language is not Turkish, but Kazakh, Dimash's mother tongue. The languages are closely related, so your assessment was very accurate. I don't think the songs you mentioned have anything to do with each other. It's more of a coincidence, or rather they have the same theme of swans. One, The Love of Tired Swans, is a Russian song by Igor Krutoy. And this one is a Kazakh song and has a different composer.
