Thank you for reacting to the story behind👍❤️. Daybreak was the 8th performance in The Singer competition. I heard him say in an interview that it was very painful throughout the song, that his throat feels like shredded glass but he didn’t want to disappoint the people who stand behind him and so he pulled himself together and went on stage. He got 5 injections from this doctor in the hospital. And the doctor told him not to sing high notes. You can see how concerned the other competitors were and they suffered with him. They knew he was not doing well and one of them even gave him a very expensive Chinese medicine from his own inventory. The problem was his busy schedule between the performances and he didn’t have enough time to recover. He made very good friends there and many friendships still exist today. After the performance he lost his voice again. It’s unbelievable how he always manages to convey emotions to such a degree. Though I think in this one particular version the emotions he shows are mostly concern about his voice keeping up with the song and the pain he must have been in doing it. What I love about the Chinese competitors is that they don’t behave like competitors. Everyone wishes everyone luck. Everyone watches the other’s performance. Clap, sing along. In my opinion, no one begrudges the success of another. They might not have taken Dimash seriously at first, but that quickly changed after SOS (1st performance) . Through ist honest, cheerful and open nature, he found friends very quickly. Contacts that still exist today. Especially to Terry Lin (the guy with the glasses). Just for fun, Terry adopted Dimash and Dimash named him Papa Lin. Do not be fooled. Terry is older than he looks. He was 50 years old then. They performed together on stage and sang Dimash’s song Unforgettable Day together. They visit each other when they can and send each other birthday greetings. Thank you for your interest. You may want to see, or even react to, videos that were filmed behind the scenes of the competition. They are very interesting if you want to get to know Dimash from a different, more private side. And they’re pretty funny as he doesn’t take himself too seriously and he’s always joking. Please also watch the Bastau version (no sore throat) of Daybreak. It is phenomenal and mind-blowing. So emotional and heartbreaking. In both versions I always cry my eyes out. I don’t know why I have to cry more. Because of the story or the fact, that he was in such pain and performed anyway because he didn’t want to disappoint the audience. Both version were in the same year 2017. If you watch his Bastau 2017 performance of this song you'll see the difference of Dimash in full voice. He did great on this performance as well. I'm thinking that doctor watched this performance and was shaking his head saying:I told him to stay away from high notes. You're going to have to set up a Dimash playlist. So far you've been checking out live performances. You should check out Across Endless Dimensions,official MV. You'll get to see another artistic side of Dimash.

Dimash immerses himself in every song he sings. Notice his facial expressions just before each song. I especially want to watch and react to Ddimash singing "Ikanaide". It is the Japanese version of "Autumn Strong", and the original song. "Ikanaide" means don't go or please don't go. If you want to really see how he gets totally into a song, watch Ikanaide. He makes it seem like he singing about his own heartbreak. thank you so much for your videos of Dimash. You are just too cute. I am a 73 yr. old great-grandmother of all boys and looking at that adorable face of yours makes me want to adopt one more. Love your reactions.

Dimash said in an interview that singing during this performance was super painful. Bastau concert definitely shows what he could have done if he had his normal voice. If you listen closely, you can hear him slightly lose (his voice) towards the end. But then he recovers it to end the song.

You took the time to watch amd listen to the story behind the song then went on to react to song with captions on but you never bothered to read the lyrics on the real story of the song you just smiled and smirked the the while song amd never got a grip on the real feeling of what the song and Dimash was trying to portray. I understand you appreciate Dimashs singing threw his soar throat but seriously it's not a song to be smiling and smirking through. It's a very sad sad song sorry but truth be told.
