Please let us know when you become a Dear (if you haven't already become one). This video was the first video I ever saw of Dimash. I then saw SOS, followed by Sinful Passion. Sinful Passion sealed my fate. I've been a devoted Dear ever since. There really is a "BEFORE" and "AFTER" with Dimash! I just love his humility, though. Alrighty, I'm in. 1st: Your expressions and comments on these Dimash videos are fantastic. I can't help but to laugh and smile. Opera 2 sealed the deal. This is my absolute favorite video of this song. Simply because it tells and shows all the comments and reactions of the audience,other contestants and of course Dimash and his Dad. You sealed the deal with your facial expression when you realized that Dimash saw his Dad for the 1st and had no clue he was there. I have watched your videos many times of Dimash. Next to Dimash, you are so entertaining. I love the excitement and enthusiasm you bring. The clicking sounds you hear are canastas. They are mainly used in Spanish songs. Dimash had already been in China for several weeks with only his interpreter and the guy who introduced him. He was not used to being away from his family and close friends for so long and was getting homesick. Dimash loves his family so very much, especially his grandparents. I loved the look on his face when he saw his father there. I haven't seen any recent videos of your Dimash reactions. I hope everything is well with you.

The clicks are castanets. Original song has one key change. Dimash has 3. His Dad flew in to China to surprise him. And this is only the 2nd song of the season. SOS was the first song. The Show Must Go On is the third song he performs on this contest. You're in for a treat as you go down the rabbit hole. But remember this is a competition show, so all of his songs tend to be over the top here. And he pulls out the ear piece every time he wants to hear himself better. So if you go back you'll see its out after the first high notes.

Dimash is very close to his family. He was 23 here and found himself really homesick while he was in China. When he first started on the 2017 Singer show he didn't realise he would need to be away from his home and family, continuously, for something like 4 months, to keep competing right to the end, and his family had their own work commitments back in Kazakhstan. The pressure was huge and kept escalating, week by week, and Dimash is a perfectionist, so the pressure he placed on himself was even greater. During this time he had the shock and adjustment of suddenly finding himself a 'megastar' with hundreds of millions of besotted fans and needing security wherever he went. He was also occasionally unwell and at one point lost his voice just before a performance. Even though he was already an experienced performer, this was his 'forged in the fire' breakthrough period, not only in China, but, as we all now know; to a much broader International audience. Dimash went to China by himself. His father there was a surprise. I don’t know the terminology Dimash used for his parents but his grandparents raised him as is custom for the eldest child. His grandmother heard he had perfect pitch and enrolled him in the academy of music at the university at 5 yrs old. Dimash started his career at 2 years old as. His bio in wikipedia reports.

I’m always smiling through the song 😅 Then wiping my eyes when he sees his Father 🥺😭 Then he asks “Did I Sing Well”‼️🤣😂🤣💦 “Humble” just doesn’t cover this man✨ This is a famous song by Russian singer Vitas. Vitas went up only 2⁉️ Dimash went up 4‼️ Vitas then forbids Dimash from doing any of his music, and Vitas Re-recorded it in 2020🙃 ❤️2U&2ALLU❤️🦌🦌💫🌎🇺🇸

I really enjoy your reactions, there sincerity and honesty in them. Thank you. This rabbit hole is truly worthwhile to explore. A voice and talent like Dimash comes along maybe once in a century. And we able to witness as his career progresses. Wow indeed! He sang Adagio from Lara Fabian, The show must go on from Qeen and Lionel Richie's Hello in this competition.
