I understand how you feel and I believe Prince Dimash understands too, even though he has not suffered such a loss. He just has a way of showing that he feels with us. This is him on 55th minute of his 2 hours concert in Astana, KZ. Before, he has already made all vocal acrobatics, hit whistle notes, all you can imagine he did.. Nevertheless, even after this song, he kept on powerful and extreme edge. Dimash is so generous person sharing all his talent with us. He could have just made couple of extremes which already enough to be superb, but he gives to his audience all he has. Nothing to keep for himself. Very generous and sacrificing.

For the full true story about this song, go to Gloria Wu's channel and request, "Daybreak Behind The Scenes". Not only was this a tragic loss for the young boy the song is about, but it was to be the first time Dimash was to sing in Mandarin (Chinese dialect). But Dimash's troubles were not over. Just hours before he was to perform this heartbreaking song, he lost his voice. Gloria's version shows Dimash going to the hospital for treatment, followed up by his fellow competitors supporting him. This friendship among them developed into a close bond. This video also describes the cable car accident and shows Han Hong, who wrote the song, and the child that the song is about. Whom she later adopted. I feel how you feel, thank you for the reaction - I also lost my parents when they were far too young and this song also makes me so emotional. Extra note 😊 For an amazing video, I'd like to suggest watching, "Daididau Bastau Concert". This concert was after Dimash completed The Singer 2017. It is Dimash's very first solo concert. It was held in Kazakhstan. There were 30,000 people in attendance. In the prelude to the song, there are 100 Dombra players lined up in front of the stage. Dimash chimes in toward the end of the prelude. He then proceeds into the song. At the end of the song, Dimash is on his knees giving and receiving his humble love for his country's love and support for him. He is so overwhelmed by their love that he has great difficulty holding back his tears. This is referred to in the Wikipedia article I've mentioned to you before. Very emotional.
