This is based on a true story. A cable car accident in China killed many people. The father lifted his toddler son out of the car as it fell, saving him. Both parents perished in the accident. Aloha! I have always enjoyed your reactions to some of my favorite artists: master Dimash, Hua Hua, So Hyang, Lara, etc. You are definitely right about Dimash that sets himself apart from others, is his vocal ability to serve the song in the only way it should be. Who else does the variations in range, ethnic colours or vocalize to make each of his songs blossom with life and moods?! He is the only artist that can make movie soundtracks like no other! He is the choir, band, special effects and ethnic tones all rolled into his tall, lithe special person….no other can cover most of his songs, but he sure is able to cover their and make it his own! This performance was at his first ever large scale concert held in his home country Kazakhstan after his success on The I Am Singer show in China in 2017, hence “Bastau” (“Beginning”). I listen and watch a lot of reaction videos especially about Dimosh, and by a very wide margin yours are the most emotionally "correct" reactions out there. You are 1000% correct about Dimash singing for the enjoyment of the listener's experience. My research tells me that he Is the driving force and has the final word on the choreography and in the staging such as lights, flames, water, whatever it is that's happening in the performance. Dimash, while having the label of the finest singer on the planet should really have the label of the finest performer on the planet. No one is even close or in the same ballpark. By the way, I never leave remarks this comment is the very first time I've ever left a comment because it was so excellently done. Keep up the great work.

My thoughts are as yours! Dimash brings us the story that this awesome song is based on. Written by the lady that adopted the little boy that survived that awful accident, who’s parents both died while doing their utmost to save their son. It’s such an emotional song and Dimash brings that emotion to life, makes it real, I cry every single time I hear him sing this, but to be honest, Dimash makes me cry a lot, his voice is just so beautiful, it pulls my heart strings every single time, with pretty much every song he sings. Such an incredible performance about a truly heartbreaking true story of a young child who watched his parents die in a tragic cable car accident. The composer of this song performed it on the Singer program and later Dimash did, he literally had no voice, even after shots in his throat, yet he still painfully performed this song. In Bastau he definitely wasn’t sick and delivered one of his most emotional performances, in my opinion. The young child was adopted by Han Hong who composed the song from the perspective of the 2 year old 😢❤. Thank you for always appreciating the nuances of Dimash in each performance.

Dimash are întotdeauna grijă să transmită întrega poveste a cântecului. Exact cum ai spus și tu, cu vocea lui, cu corpul lui, cu tăcerile lui, cu celelalte instrumente pe care le lasă să fie auzite. Toate au importanța lor și aici e marele merit al lui, le acordă acea importanță. Mai ales că acest cântec se bazează pe un fapt real ce l-a impresionat, a avut enorm de multă grijă să transmită toată emoția. I agree that creating the experience is everything for Dimash. One hears him say it hundreds of times in so many ways. I have watched this video thousands of times and yet the sheer depth of beauty is awe inspiring every time. One side note is the look of shock on that security guards face. Thank you for your reaction. It pretty much echoes what I feel about Dimash in general. The emotion really bleeds from him in this performance and brings me to tears. I read that he first heard this story when he was 10, also that his team were worried about him at this concert - his first big solo event, back from being away from home in China and lost a lot of weight from the stress and responsibility, a lot for a 23 year old. He did a fabulous job.

Уважаемый, Араб, спасибо за реакцию. До Вашей реакции я смотрела реакцию Алекса. И он сказал, что чувствует себя хорошим знакомым Димаша, после просмотров его выступлени . Вы тоже как-то сказали, что радуетесь за Димаша как будто он Ваш родственник и член семьи. Я обожаю Вас и люблю Ваши реакции. Я понимаю, что кроме Димаша у Вас много других работ, но Димаш после выступлени в Китае дал концерты в Алматы, Анталии, Армении, Малайзии и ещё два раз выступили в Китае , сейчас находится в Швейцарии. А в декабре выступает в Гонконге. Представляете как трудиться наш Динмухаммед. Да, ещё у него в жизни произошло тяжёлая утрата, умер его любимый дедушка. А недавно ему присвоили звание Народного Артиста Казахстан и президент страны подарил ему собаку (щенка). О я Вам целое письмо написала, простите. Thank you, thank, you thank you for everything you said!! I could probably write a book on some of my same opinions you were sharing about Dimash's level of artistry. I hesitate to even bring up the fact that i have autism.... however in this case it is relevant. Sometimes (who am i even kidding! A lot of times) people dont like talking to me because i gelt super excited about my "hyperintrests" 😅. I totally get that and it's part of understanding who I am. However, Dimash is worthy of being anyones hyperintrest; so when i try to introduce my family or very few friends.... it hasnt been a much of a success unfortunately. BUT I am also an artist and was a classically trained vocalist for 8 years. and have done a lot of research (autism 😂) on psychology, personality and temperament. Dimash is thought to have an extremely high.INFP-A personality profile. If you ever have a chance to read about it.... it totally explains so much!!! I am a big believer in science but also am a big believer in spirituality too; and i know that that is a huge factor in Dimash's life and that if his family. He was raised with very traditional values of kindness, loyalty, pureness of heart, and Servitude. In his personality profile, every decision he makes, he is driven by his moral compass and cannot feel "ok within himself" if he isn't listening to those guiding principles. I do know this to be true because i am the same profile. Lol it is actually nic-named "Authenticity." The world was Blessed by God with this beautiful man's incredible gift that isn't just his voice. His voice is only one of his masterful tools; just like Leonardo da Vinci, or Michelangelo. I agree that there are many phenomenal and magical voices in the world.... however his talent is not just his voice. It is far beyond just that instrument.
