Nope, not his highest note, he hits the D8 (above normal piano range) in Unforgettable Day at Gakku. He's never done a proper acting role but he's done two Chinese TV shows (Phantacity and My Celebrity Boyfriend) and most of his MVs are mini movies where he takes the leading role, especially his latest The Story of One Sky which is a message that the whole world needs to see. Btw, this was his solo concert in Astana, your estimate was a little out as there were only 40,000 people at this concert.

No, he goes almost 2 octaves higher. Listen to an amazing song Dimash wrote when he was 19, a song called Unforgettable Day kzbin.info/www/bejne/q2aViXefoctpaA it has to be this link of the performance from Gakku though, for the highest note ever sung by a male live, a note way off the piano! D8! Other performances of this song are usually an octave lower D7, still higher than you’ve heard from Dimash before though!

@@pirkkoukkonen8039 Yes. Some reactors are disappointed when they listen to some of the most gorgeous songs on Earth, because they spend the whole song anticipating the high notes, and those aren't always what the song calls for. Some of my favorite Dimash songs stay in his mid range.

This video is also not the highest or the lowest that he can sing. Next you really should react to his new release The Story of One Sky. It is a 13 minute 41 second video, three years in the making. Composed by Dimash and script written by Dimash along with a close collaboration with the lyricist and director. No spoilers but a heads up. This will require a lot of attention to detail, visuals and consumption of the lyrics in order for you to have a complete understanding of this music video. Looking forward to your reaction on this.

Ogni Pietra in Italian and "Olimpico" in English was written by Russian composer Igor Krutoy especially for Dimash voice and to be performed during the Opening Ceremony of the 2nd European Olympic Games in Minsk in 2019. This performance is from his solo concert is very inspiring not only for athletes of all over the world

The highest I've heard him go is near the end of his "Across Endless Dimensions" performance; glad I didn't have anything made of glass in the immediate vicinity; don't think it would have made it.q Another performance you might like that is also of a high-production value is "Ti Amo Cosi" that he sings along w/ both the wonderfully superb ( & beautiful) Russian soprano, Aida Garrifullina & the icon Belgian chanteuse (song-bird)Bird, Lara Fabian at an arena w/ an ice ⛸️ exhibition going on simultaneously. What a gorgeous composition, arrangement, & performance. -- what is referred to as a "reaffirmation of life" experience; the final extended harmonized note is guaranteed to send shivers down your spine ( unless you're either deaf or dead).

I think for his mixed head voice this is his highest, but he can sing up to D8 in whistle register (on the record) which is 2 octave higher and off the keyboard. Off the record? Who knows, the sky might be his limit.

If you watch some of Dimash’s MV’s, eg, Love of Tired Swans and Be With Me, you’ll see his acting chops. Acting in movies is not beyond the realm for him. Check out HIS version of Diva Dance - from the film, The Fifth Element (not the one paired with Confessore - but the concerted version). THIS is what proper classical training can give you. It is clear that his training progressed since he was five and started on the road of being an amazing (multi) musician. He is completely devoted to his music career. He vocalizes for 3 hours a day - aside from performing. It's that dedication to his craft that is paying off big time now as he has matured into an adult. It also demonstrates that classical voice instruction can be used across MULTIPLE genres of music. (As an opera trained singer myself) What this gives a vocalist is the sound foundation of proper use of your vocal instrument WITHOUT harming it. How you apply it to whatever genre you end up singing is up to you. But opera singers are the "weight lifters" of singing. We can produce massive amounts of sound because we know properly how to use our vocal folds and the resonance chambers (think "holes in your head") to produce that volume of sound without damaging what you have to work with. Dimash is one of the absolute best examples of how his classical training has allowed him to explore ALL genres of music but his feet are firmly planted in his classical background. Great reaction.

Dimash's highest note so far (C#8 - D8) can be heard in his performance of "Unforgettable Day" (Gakku version). The D8 is one note OFF the piano!
