One of my favorite things I've heard said about dimash when he sings is that he becomes the song, he is the song.

Each IKANAIDE is supposed to be sung with a different emotion. The lyricist said that Dimash was the first non-native Japanese singer who understood that and did it to perfection. This song is a Masterpiece. A Canadian Dear 🦌🇨🇦💜🇰🇿

Not a wasted note, or movement, not a missstep, a body and voice imbued with thousands of hours of practice, years of study that enables him to place himself emotionally within a song, and flawlessly revel in it.

The fragility of a note he is able to maintain and then widen it breathtakingly slowly and increase a power behind it, under it, and pull it up soaringly is unlike any artist I've ever heard.

Dimash is a true, honest, and humble transformative. He understands the importance of conveying the real story of music through performance. His total commitment to the story in appearance, dress, body language, and emotion is like a mini-opera. Or a Popera if you like. His intense operatic, blues, jazz, folk, world, and pop music training are all elements within the story. Every performance is a work of art that is very personal to him.

When Niccolo Paganini was asked what the secret of his skill was, he replied: "You need to feel very strongly yourself in order to make others feel." Dimash has mastered this secret perfectly. Когда Никколо Паганини спросили, в чем секрет его мастерства, он ответил: "Вам нужно очень сильно чувствовать себя, чтобы заставить чувствовать других". Димаш в совершенстве овладел этим секретом.

The Chinese (Autuumn Strong) and Japanese (Ikanaide/ Please, don’t Go) versions have completely different lyrics.. Both are based on a true story. The Chinese version is sad, says goodbye, just as the leaves fall in autumn and autumn comes ... irrevocably. The Japanese version does not want to accept the loss, is full of pain, pleads, suffers ... heartbreaking. I am totally fascinated how sensitively Dimash differentiates between the feelings of sadness and loneliness in the Chinese version and loss and pain in the Japanese version and conveys them to the listener... it tears my heart apart and the tears keep flowing. I have never heard anything like this from a singer in my entire life. That is true mastery. The original Japanese version Ikanaide/ Don’t Go(composed 1989) is by Koji Tamaki (*1958, Japanese songwriter). The sad true story... very touching: It is about Yoshiko Yamaguchi (*1920-2014), a Chinese-born Japanese actress during World War II. She hid her Japanese heritage under the name Li XIanglan and became famous in China. However, when the war was over and she revealed her identity, she was accused of being a spy. She was deported to Japan and longed for China. Ms. Yamaguchi did not return to China until many years as deputy environment minister in the Japanese parliament. The song is a metaphor as the lyrics speak of how a person should hide what they are feeling. Koji Tamaki sent a wonderful message to Dimash, thanking him, and praising him for singing his song in Japanese. Vbloggers, they reacted to the original by Koji Tamaki, they are mesmerized and can't stop listening to him. He wrote many wonderful melodies - you should check it out: Koji Tamaki 2021, Ikanaide - kzbin.info/www/bejne/haHKn4BogsiWebM In 1993, Jacky Cheung adapted the song into Chinese Mandarin, calling it Late Autumn: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mqWwY3ipnK13aa8 The most famous interpretation In China (first performance at the Singer 2017) was that of Dimash Qudaibergen and it was his first time to sing in Chinese mandarin: Dimash - Autuumn Strong - kzbin.info/www/bejne/gZ7MY5aMns-Xg9E This song brought Dimash the 'Best Foreign Singer' award at the Golden Melody Award 2017 (equivalent to the Grammy) in Hong Kong. You should also watch the great performance (Chinese version) of Dimash from Kiev 11.03.2020, the last concert before Corona paralyzed everything: kzbin.info/www/bejne/amSaenipea6NnKc

Dimash is the best singer in the WORLD and there are no doubts about that, his voice is a prodigy of nature and a genetic marvel since his parents are two glories of singing from Kazakhstan since he was 5 years old, he sings publicly and has more than twenty years of lyrical training and graduated from the university of music, he is a singer, composer, arranger and multi instrumentalist, he plays more than seven musical instruments and sings in more than Ten(10) languages, he is also a great performer and a great artist who lives and feels music He is not an imitator of voices , Dimash has his own style and is one of the forerunners of the "POPera" he also has a very pleasant, HUMBLE and simple personality, easy access, which makes it very easy to follow, he always travels with His family and friends is a very educated person and an example to follow, he has become known for his musical talent not for getting into trouble or scandals, It has a very wide vocal range of approximately 7 octaves ,he is a singer with a wide vocal range very versatile is Baritone, TENOR , Soprano, counter TENOR, mezasoprano, everything at the same time is how to have 5 singers in one, it has a male and female voice, also many resources such as vibrato, "melismas", falsetto, Staccato, whistle tone, reaching a( D8 )live "Outside of Piano"at the concert of Gakku in an unforgettable day, at his young age he continues to improve and grow musically to perfection, he has a good physical presence he measures 191 cm or 6 "3", he is very famous and recognized in Asia and now he is becoming known In Europe and America, ALL their songs are spectacular, it always goes from low to high, soft to spectacular at the end, in my almost half a century of life I never heard so much quality and it is the hope of continuity of the classical genre because all the old tenors have already Almost all of them died and Dimash can sing like them but none of them can sing like Dimash, being a Man he sings better than any Tenor and his female voice is superior to that of any average Soprano, greetings and a hug from USA 🇺🇸 "Dears" Forever ❤️ Sorry for copying and pasting my informative comment in ALL the Video reactions to Dimash what I see but I do it with the intention of sharing information about him and what I think that in the music industry there are many artists who have been successful and have no talent and are bad people and they do not set a good example for the youth, Dimash and his music deserve to triumph in America, Europe and the whole WORLD, do you want to have already read my comment please come by without problem there is always someone who for the first time knows this information and I won't get tired of sharing it with all my friends"Dear" around the world, thanks for reading and for supporting Dimash 🙏🏻S.O.S. This was another very enjoyable reaction and analysis. This is quickly becoming one if not the favorite Dimash performance for me and it invokes a very visceral response in me, just as "Ave Maria" did. Dimash sang “Ikanaide” for the Tokyo Jazz Festival in January of 2021 from what looks like his studio at home. According to several native Japanese speakers, Dimash’s pronunciation of the lyrics is nearly flawless. One native speaker, who gave a detailed analysis, stated that he is “expressing Japanese more (better) than Japanese” and that he does not only perfectly pronounce Japanese but “expresses Japanese…with Japanese emotion.”. Goro Matsui who wrote the lyrics to “Ikanaide” posted on his Twitter account that he has never heard a foreigner sing in Japanese in such a beautiful way. Tamaki Kōji composed the music and performed the song in 1989. "Ikanaide" became the title song for the Chinese-Japanese TV series “Farewell, Li Xianglan'', filmed that year. It is the story of Yoshiko Yamaguchi, a beloved Chinese-born Japanese actress, and singer during World War II, who hid her Japanese heritage under the name Li XIanglan. Following the war, when the Chinese became aware of her Japanese heritage, she was accused of being a spy and sentenced to death by firing squad for treason and collaboration with the Japanese; she had been involved in the production of Japanese propaganda films. Thanks to the intervention of influential friends she was cleared of all charges but urged to leave China or risk being lynched. She resettled in Japan where she would continue to enjoy a successful acting career. In the 1950s, she moved her acting career to Hollywood and Broadway under the name Shirley Yamaguchi but returned to Japan in 1959, retiring from acting. She would go on to become a TV presenter and eventually a politician. She did not return to China for nearly 20 years. In 1990, “Ikanaide” was translated into Cantonese and sung by Jacky Cheung using the same melody. Later, the song was rewritten and translated for Jacky Cheung to Mandarin under the title “Late Autumn”. In 2004 the Taiwanese singer Terry Lin adapted the song into a new version titled "In Deep Autumn", with lyrics written by Daryl Yao. Dimash chose the 2004 Taiwanese version arranged by Terry Lin with Mandarin lyrics for his performance at the 2017 “I Am A Singer” competition but gave it his own interpretation and titled it "Autumn Strong". This song went on to earn Dimash the "Best Foreign Singer" award during the Golden Melody Award in Hong Kong. Here are the original lyrics to “Ikanaide”: Ikanaide (ee-kanaa-eedayy) Please Don't Go Away by Koji Tamaki Nothing visible, nothing I have been crying throughout Not because I feel sorrowful But because of the delight of feeling your warmth Ah… Please don't go away, please don't go away Please don't ever ever let us separate Ah… Please don't go away, please don't go away Let's remain this way Someday your heart will be somewhere afar That everything will turn into memory Though it's better not to know Though it's better not to know Ah… Please don't go away, please don't go away Whenever it is, don't let us separate Ah… Please don't go away, please don't go away Let's remain this way

Ikanaide = Please don't go. Thanks. Greentings from Brasil. Namastê!

Jacqueline , I would like to ask you to pay attention to a very important detail when analyzing Dimash 's creativity in depth : Dimash 's eyes . In this case, these are the eyes of not just a singing person - these are the eyes of a person deeply immersed in his suffering and in his longing before the inevitable parting! I always follow the mirror of Dimash's soul - his amazingly expressive eyes, and for me this is an important addition to his unearthly vocals.

To my meaning his best ever. My dad was an opera singer. He mostly sang duets and trio's. He always said that if one can not sing soft and quietly he/she is not a very good singer yet. He was very kind and modest and was not arrogant by saying this. It was only his point of view. I wish he could hear Dimash sing. Thank you for your reaction.
