Wow...is this really his official vocal range? I've seen comments that growl or whistle not counted as part of vocal range, my musical knowledge is non existence😁because of Dimash, i was able to watched vocal teachers explaining musicalities and this is how i understand his skills and talent. So in just a matter of few years, he was able to extend his vocal range from 4 octave to 7 now. Scary😱 what will happen in 5 yrs from now? Can he still go much higher? Dhang..🤞he will be super duper...whooo dear from canada

Dimash range actually started from 4.5-5 Octaves (natural talent) as stated in an interview given by his University Rector. Nothing is really official, since Vocal Ranges are very subjective and always open interpretation as well as negative discourse. Range / Octaves are always an interpretation by the listener. Which is why Dimash prefers not to discuss, he prefers listeners to enjoy the result of his Art and his Work. Dimash has said many times, Octaves are just part of his tools to give his Fans/Dears the enjoyment of his best performance. Best wishes from Canada also..

A very good video!!! Thank you for your efforts. But to give you a few suggestions, The part marked with B0 is F1, and it seems to go up to B1 later. I've only heard it a few times, so my opinion may change later, but that's my opinion for now. And his range is C1 to D8, so he has 7 octaves (C1 to B7) and 3 notes (B7 to D8). One octave contains 12 notes, so the 3 notes are 0.25 notes. C1 to D8 should be written in 7.25 octaves.

I listen over and over again and always hear a B0!! maybe the problem is with my hearing but it's unlikely, but I really liked your opinion! i tried to see the note in apps but the apps but They don't catch the growls! Thank you very much for commenting.

Dimash with every performance in this song tries to go deeper into the growl!! More and more Dimash is managing to go deeper in the growls, for my ears the difference is clear between the notes!! But it's great to hear your opinion, thank you very much.

Dimash will change how low he goes and high he goes in different performances to fit how confident he is that day. He probably felt confident he could push it a bit and still not sacrifice the quality. His voice is also getting lower and lower as well as he's getting towards his 30s and voices generally get lower around that time.

@ it's definitely an Eb6, but devices have different sensitivities to overtones. So it sounds like an Eb7. The notes before and after would make more sense if it was an Eb7

I count, but if I only count the pure voice, it goes from E2 to F#6.

@ Don't get me wrong I enjoyed the video. His useful vocal range is already well above 6 octaves (and likely growing) which is possibly beyond anyone on the planet now. So I see not need to extend that range with notes that could be replicated by clearing your throat (a bit of an exaggeration). He is already the best and I believe at some point he will figure out how to access the subharmonic frequencies and get down to a C1 consistently and musically much like A cappella bass singers do.

I think he is a tenor. He himself and his teacher said so. Also I see that he is most comfortable and stays longer in his tenor and soprano ranges.

His vocal coach calls him a tenor, and he has a tessitura of a tenor. However, he has longer than normal vocal cords which allow him to hit low notes that sound similar to a baritone, and stretch them out to sound more like a soprano. He could sing decently low notes as a teenager, and it mostly just developed from there, and the high notes were maintained from childhood.

@@conchi5882 Casi todos los growls, fry y subarmónicos están mal. De hecho, en algunos casos no se trata de que sea más bajo o más alto, simplemente la nota está mal, y ni siquiera corresponde a la estructura melódica de la canción. Quiero decir, no hace falta ni medir algunas notas si eres músico porque es obvio que nota está haciendo. Aquí hay demasiados errores como para corregir de forma individual, basta con decir que el método fundamental de medición que esté usando es claramente erroneo.
