He is about to finish his Doctorate, a PhD in Musicology, majoring in composing. 3 back to back advanced university degrees with honors while simulataneously performing !! A first in a world class artist and we are all extremely proud of this brilliant, humble young man. Until recently, all of his performances etc have been carefully scheduled around his studies. Amazing feat, and what dedication to his professionsalism and what a work ethic !! Pat I am sure to hear from someone saying, what about his time on The Singer, he wasn't in school then ! He was enrolled in the Masters Program, didn't expect to get that far in the eliminations, and went right back to school when it concluded.

In his MVs he often does his own backing vocal! And the technique you loved, singing like a bird, it called "staccato" and is a classical technique. He uses that in a lot of his songs.

Oh, he's got such great videos (except for the Digital concert Be With Me). You're in for treat. But I suggest checking the live performances for those songs first.
