Thanks for your reaction and analysis. Dimash composed the music, I think, if not mistaken, his Dad, Kanat, helped him with the lyrics. His Dad also help him filmed it, because he needed to submit a MV for either a project or as part of a competition. I think everyone in the MV were all his schoolmates. It’s a fun, upbeat, innocent teenage boy chase girl thing. 😊❤

What a refreshing and fun surprise - thank you so much for this, Sir! First time watching this music video and I caught myself also giggling at some parts of the video😅I can’t help but feel a deep fondness for that more inexperienced version of Dimash showing those sparkles of raw and pure talent🥰I really enjoy discovering older material (or biographies) from artists and scientists I admire because it gives me a 'documentary feeling' of their path to ‘success’ (= to receive recognition for their contribution). It reminds me of how beautiful and complex human life can be; besides, one can learn and take lots of inspiration from that kind of preliminary recording on the importance of resilience. Hopefully, 10 years from now we'll watch Dimash’s current brilliant performances and continue to be amazed by his artistic growth and increasing recognition. Our Kazakh boy deserves much love❣

Fun fact: Dimash was asked about this composition, apparently his dad wrote the lyrics and Dimash in jest said to the interviewer sth like...' i mean who says things like that to a girl these days? i love how accommodating he is and the example of love he projects for his family (despite how cringey Dad's lyrics were to teenage Dimash), He walks the talk of his dedication to the happiness of his parents. We've seen so many of this show of love in public, at home, i recall a clip where his grandma was being interviewed on camera in her home; the phone rings, she answers, and next the words "my love, my heart, my soul" and tells the reporter it was Dimash calling. I suddenly missed my own grandma. I always find refreshing that Dimash's love of family reciprocated keeps him real and grounded. This love, so caring and gentle is so much needed in our societies today. Thanks very much for your insightful commentary Sir H! always enjoy your reactions🙏🙏🙏🙏❤🧡💛💚

Dimash was actually discouraged greatly by teachers and other music professionals from singing in his countertenor soprano register. He would get in trouble in school for doing it and used a lookout for the teacher in order to practice. He was on a music talent show and the panel of judges tore him apart for singing high and for mixing genres. They told him Kazakh men don’t sing that high and he had to pick a genre, he couldn’t mix classical, pop and rock in one song. They also told him to cut his hair and that even he held his mike wrong ☹️. Now here we are 12 years later and his last concert 2 weeks ago had over 10,000 people that flew in from 80 countries ❤ And Dimash Ali creative Center is the production company his parents started for him. His full name is actually Dinmuhammed Qanatuly Qudaibergen

yes, the song is cool and fun. I know, young Dimash with his hairstyle makes us smile, I think we do too when we look at our old photos and think about how cute our previous style, clothes, hair, etc. were. I just wondering how you looked when you were a teenager, it looks like your hair was still intact, what style was that? Anyway, the video is fun to watch. Btw, how do you know that the model in the clip is Dimash's girlfriend? I've never heard of that, I think you know Dimash better now 🤭. If you want to hear different style of Dimash, perhaps you might try he’s in opera style such as Ti Amo Cosi with Lara Fabian and Aida Garifulina, Question of Honour with Zarina Altynbayeva, Tu vas me détruire with Sundet Baighozin, or The Pearl Fisher’s Duet wit Placido Domingo. Have a nice day, Sir! 🙏

It always surprises me that in his country Dimash had many critics who considered his singing style to be something strange. He was even accused of not knowing enough wedding songs and not taking part in such events. That he did not follow the traditional routine. In Kazakhstan, artists sing at weddings, and the more they are appreciated, the more often they are invited to such performances. Only when he gained recognition abroad, when he began to make his country famous and introduce it to the world, some of his compatriots accepted him. But he still does not have as many fans in his country as abroad. In my opinion, if he did not have famous parents, he would not have participated in so many programs until 2017. Fortunately, several people appreciated Dimash's talent, and he worked so hard that the results are great. He believed in himself and in his rightness. The girl from the movie was not his girlfriend, but he had a beautiful girlfriend. He simply never talks about it.
