I heard it three times live and at some point the drums were so strong, that it gave me some kind of discomfort.... I had a feeling, that my heart starts beating in the rhyme of the drums... Wonderful reacfion! This is my first time hearing this version, and i will say, i can tell its different within 5 seconds, it is faster paced, and there is more subtle swings (no rhythm but note transitions) to this. And it sohnds more raw and live! Love this version!

If you knew the song as well as we do you would actually hear that it's quite different in this performance, of course it's performed in the same way, it's an operatic song with no room for improvisation but his tonal choices are quite different. His Baritone is much deeper and richer and the soprano parts are more mezzo soprano than he performed it previously. Watching this for the first time it became obvious how much Dimash had been working on his lower range.

This is where i think you have an advantage over me, I've heard this song only once before where i'm sure you have heard it multiple times, It's a little hard for me to pick up on the differences because of this. I think thats what makes this even more impressive to be fair! On repeated listenings it just gets better and better for the listener! :D

@@SephPlays the whole Almaty concert was a revelation (even to long term Dears) on how much he'd been working on that lower range. His backing singer Rassul also stated in a later livestream that they'd been running every day for a long time before the concert in order to build up endurance and fitness to prepare for a concert that lasted almost 4 hours. It clearly worked as Dimash wasn't even breathing hard at the end and in fact joked with the audience that he could do 5 more concerts.

Thank you for your energy while your reaction. Dimash sang Olympico here even better than at the previous concert. His voice is more mature and he sings the song even more in a classical style. To me, Dimash always sounds better live than in the studio. I can't say that about many other singers. 😉

Thanks God, it's not quite the same performance as the Olimpico in 2019. So there's no doubt that he's singing this live. If you watch this two performances than you will hear some differences. He must have worked a lot with his lower voice. It seems, I don't know how to say it, richer. I love it a lot. You also can hear it with Love Of Tired Swans. There are huge changes to this Olympico, it barely sounds like the same song to me. I did not like most of them but the richer lower notes were nice. I don't like his higher tone choice for this performance plus he added one piece that I found a bit jarring. I do like his outfit better than the clothing choice at Arnau. If you listened to the original version you listened to and then this one again. You will hear the difference. This one i feel his lower register is a bit lower than the one from 2019. And this one has a more raw quality. But to someone who only listens to it once or twice, i can see how it sounds the same.

That was indeed the first live performance of Olimipco at his concert since many years. Or at least it was different from the standard 2019 version. However, in my ears there was something terribly wrong with the sound. His voice sounded muffled as if he were singing with a sock in his mouth. The sound lacked tonal brilliance. He also did not sound more baritonaö to me but more tenorish, though with a dark timbre. Could be due to the sound problem whatever it was.
