SH: Do you happen to know why all of Dimash’s high notes sound less high than they really are? And somehow less high, than the same notes sung by others… I was wondering about this, but have no idea how this is possible (technically or physically) 😅

The theme of the song is love and Dimash builds a narrative of accepting the various parts of this love that lives in us: melancholy, joy and passion... Dimash is not a bad one, a good one and a passionate one. These are moments that must be embraced and understood so that we accept who we are and can see the light that dwells in us! After singing the emotional song "The History of One Sky", at his concert in Almaty (Kazakhstan) on 09/23/2022, Dimash took a short break and went to the dressing room. At that moment, the stage was not empty: He performed this song in Spanish created by him and with lyrics by two of his fans, in that language! While the band played live accompanying three pre-recorded avatars of Dimash, Dimash appeared, in the final section of the song singing live and being accompanied by himself in three versions!

Wow, I can now recognize how the chromatic inflection by just a single note creates suspense. I could spend hours re-watching all the instruction you gave us in just this one song, and I might do that! You make me realize how much more I could have absorbed during the hours that were wasted on me in music theory at university. If only one instructor had realized the effectiveness of teaching music theory by using an artist's composition that a student is passionately interested in understanding, what a difference it would have made! I'm grateful for the time you spend teaching in such an accessible way. You're a gifted teacher, no hyperbole.

Thank you, Sir, for bringing to us some extra dose of Dimash today in a new format of reaction/analysis (which worked quite well btw)! It's delightful to see Dimash's incredible talent and restless effort to learn how to sing in so many different languages... here, once more, he offers a beautiful gift to all Spanish speakers with 4 different versions of himself on stage :) I hope one day he may sing something in Portuguese as well!🤞This performance happened as part of his concert in Almaty (2022), just after the first live delivery of his epic composition ‘The Story of One Sky’: when you watch it, you’ll understand how important was for him to have this little break of singing live after that, leaving the stage to his 3 holograms to shine for a while, until he could come back with some MJ-inspired moves (yesss, Dimash has *a lot* of MJ influence in his pop-inclined songs that you'll probably review in the future). Thanks again❣

Sir Hairless, your reactions are such a treat watch! As a Spanish speaker, I was so overwhelmed with joy the first time hearing Dimash sing in my native language. It is a true privilege to be able to listen to him, particularly in a language that carries so much emotion for me. I am so grateful to Dimash for taking the time to compose, learn and perform this song.
@paul82289 ай бұрын
Hi Guys, I have been waiting for a reaction to be done on this song for some time, its great to see it finally happen. Just an interesting point to make in reference to the monthly scores that were displayed yesterday for the reaction video artists played so far. At present Dimash has the 3rd highest average of 8.83 points. The top score of 8.91 (Voice Play) has only performed two songs as compared to Dimash 15. And second is Forestella 8.87. The reason I am mentioning this is the other performers are groups. El Amor En Ti is the only song that Dimash has had the opportunity to have 4 Dimashes in his group and to be able to create harmony. When you are comparing him to a group that has multiple specialists, singing different vocal ranges, and creating harmonies together, you would assume they have a decided advantage. For Dimash to consistently compete with this as a solo performer and to cover all vocal ranges and harmonies himself is amazing, and still remain competitive. This song he has done is the only one to compete on a level playing field, and he slayed it.
@SirHairless9 ай бұрын
Thanks for the comment (and the data). I used to include an artist's average rating in my ratings videos, but decided to remove them for this reason 😅 I find what you say about groups interesting, though - I actually believe it's more difficult to put on a stellar performance as a group due to the fact you all have to work well with each other (particularly acapella). It's why I believe there are so few truly pro acapella groups out there. When something is out of your hands - ie one of the other performers making a mistake or singing out of tune etc - there's nothing you can do to ensure a great overall performance What you say about the capacity groups have for intricate harmonies does go without saying 🎶 And I completely agree with what you say about what Dimash does as a solo performer

This song is definitely ambitious and intense! You definitely gave a masterful explanation of this piece. I think Dimash asked Mexican DEARS to write the words, to his music. ( DEARS, please correct me ☺️ ) Some Spanish speaking reactors were a little critical of his Spanish. I speak Spanish, and thought he did very well. While pronunciation is important, the effort Dimash puts into all his singing, is commendable. 💗🇺🇸
