What else we can say after this performance? It is absolutely beautiful , they are perfectly harmonized, their voices are astounding !! Aida Garifullina is the Prima Donna of the Viena State Opera. Let me give you some info on this incredible trio and event: • Igor Krutoy, the pianist, is there as an overall lead because the event is built for him: this is his birthday event that he organized with all his favorite artists, the ones that he is used to collaborate with and the songs he has composed • This is not the first time that Lara sings this song (composed by Igor) in trio but the third time: she performed in the original version with Dmitri Hvorostovsky and Alina Yaroyava then again later with Dmitriy and Sumi Jo, before this new trio with Dimash and Aida. The song was composed from day one with her voice in mind. She has been collaborating with Igor for more than 10 years and he has told from her that she is “the best singer and the best songwriter he has ever worked with” • This also explains why the song does not exposes more of Dimash’s upper register: it was written for the late Dmitri who was a pure baryton. • Lara was very very sick that day, with fever and strong medication but she is skilled enough to have made it unnoticeable • Also, like Dimash, and even if the song was composed that way with her in mind, Lara does not sing in her real « comfort zone »: she is, as Aida, a lyrical soprano but here she plays the role in the trio of a mezzo-soprano and takes the median register. It requires a lot of voice control to not interfere with Aida’s high note and does not allow her to really shine. She gives room to Aida to do it instead and Aida uses this magnificently. • It was the first time Dimash met his idol Lara (he is a fan since he is a child and he covered several of her songs such as Adagio, Love of Tired Swans, Mademoiselle Hyde, Know, …): look how quickly he turned to her, despite he has not finished his duo section with Aida 😂 And how he looks at her and hold her after it … • Lara is the most comfortable in italian because it is her first native language even before french: her mother is italian and while born in Belgium she spent her first 5 years in sicilia before returning there. She also is married to a sicilian man • Look how dimash slightly adapted his vibrato to better match Aida or Lara • Also there is a debate about the final note, held for such a long time, with the conductor looking at Igor and Igor smiling: Did they make a prank to the singers by extending this last note? Or did the singers instead played with them? I personnally think this is more option 1 😀 • I forgot to add that Lara has been classically trained for more than 10 years at Brussels Royal Conservatory and still continues to receive voice lessons on a daily basis. And she has sung many times opera pieces or with opera singers. • Final note to say that Lara Fabian wrote the lyrics of the song Your Love for Dimash

Unbeknownst to him, Dimash had had a fancrush for years ; Said here I am walking with this sophisticated, tall, handsome, elegantly dressed man, who tripped over his feet, blushed and stammered hhhellooo..Dimash sitting there grinning ear to ear nodding yes.. funny !😊

This was a performance on the occasion of an anniversary of the composer Igor Krutoy in 2020. Aida Garifullina is a soprano from Russia, but as far as I know she also has Austrian citizenship since 2017. Greetings and love from Germany👋❤️

This is an Igor Krutoy Birthday Estravaganza. Dimash fell for Lara when he was about 11 or 12. To this day, he adores but she is married and Dimash is a highly moral man. He does adore her though she is in her 50's and he in his 20's.

HILARIOUS Lara in an interview had everyone in hysterics. Said in rehearsal for this, Aida cocked her head at Dimash and said..if I have to run out for something he can sing my part..and burst out laughing ! They lost it and couldn't get it together ! Ok we're fine...one would start, look at the other and break up. Finally when Aida biting her lip, trying not to laugh, blinking wildly looking everywhere but at Dimash, choked and snorted her note through her nose, Igor pounding on the piano lid laughing gasped Break ! Lunch ! Great ! She said they put on their coats, walked out the door chuckling, she looked at her watch and it was 9:30 in the morning. The house came down !She's beautiful and can tell a funny story.

Hi Ace, it is something else when Lara starts to sing... So much emotion and warm in her voice... Of course Aida and Dimash's voice are perfect from technical perspective. But to me Lara's voice is just apart... And this was a day when she was not feeling well I heard... There is another version of this with Dimitri Hvorostovsky (not sure about spelling, sorry) iso Dimash which is also excellent. Thanks for the reaction and looking forward to the next one !

Lara was very sick that week. The night before she had strong em fever bevause of her sore throat. Few hours before this performance she had a morphine shot to releave her pain. She said that during interviews. She already performed that song before with two great singers, Dmitri and Sumi Jo. They are also AMAZING singers, I mean, Dmitry already passed away. 😢

enjoy your reaction. Dimash is truly incredible - a vocal freak of nature for sure; immensely talented. However for this composition, I believe a true baritone is required. Here's the same sone with Lara Fabian, the late great baritone Dmitri Hvorostovsky and the incomparable Korean soprano Sumi Jo who's interpretation here is fantastic. Lara never perofrms the same song twice the same way in live performances and this one version is epic (from her favorite concert). You also get the english subtitles. Even though Lara is the Queen to make you feel the lyrics even when you do not speak the language. The lyrics of this song are so powerful, that it is worth to have them at hand.
