Everyone has their own tastes, likes and opinions. However, the role of man is to develop his self-awareness, develop thinking, develop feelings. Fortunately, Dimash develops not only in singing, musical styles, experimentation. He is developing intellectually, emotionally and professionally before our eyes. It is a great honor to participate in his activities for the good of people, we follow his example by working charity, supporting the weak and the sick. That's what being Dears is about, not just listening to his songs. The great heads of various countries have already appreciated its importance in the fight for peace, in the fight to connect people regardless of race, religion, origin and material status. He stays with presidents, ministers, people fighting for freedom. Representatives of other countries start talks with him for multidimensional cooperation between different countries. He is the Honorary Ambassador of Asian Countries in cultural activities, He is the Honorary Ambassador of the Silk Road Countries and helps in establishing multidimensional cooperation. Much speaks to the pleas of people fighting for peace. He is respected by people at high levels in various fields. Dimash 24. 05 turned 29 years old. and has achieved so much. I've watched you several times and I still get the impression that you're standing still, you're not developing intellectually and emotionally. It's a pity, because you would have a huge share in shaping the young generation. Compared to Dimash, you're doing very poorly, not because you don't like certain songs, but because you can't even form a sentence properly.. Good luck

🤣🤣Guys! I like you, you make me laugh sometimes. And this time again ! This song is a present from Dimash, on the occasion of his birthday, for his fans. But above all it is a letter that he writes. The video of images makes sense, of course, it retraces his career, it mentions his successes in images. But this video is nothing without the lyrics. And I was wondering: when are you guys going to realize that you are missing something !!!!???? Her voice is beautiful of course, the melody, charming for those who love this genre. But the most beautiful are the lyrics. And finally, towards the end, you activated the translation! And at that moment, your look changed a little. What Dimash is saying here is that he loves life (omir means life) and understands what it is, joy and sadness. He is aware of this and dreads the sadness to come, even if he accepts it as the essence of life itself. And he also prays to continue to be a responsible human being, vigilant about his conduct ("don't test me with mistakes, disapointments, don't make me asking for forgiveness). It is a song that testifies to his awareness of be an adult. This is an essential question for every human, and perhaps even more acute for one who has popularity, such as an artist. Popularity entails responsibility and Dimash is keenly aware of this. You have understood, this text overwhelms me, and I understand through it, that Dimash has really become an adult, in the sense of consciousness. With his growing popularity, which is part of his dream, his desire to pursue his dream, and at the same time, his concern: "don't rock my boat" 🙏🙏 It's my prayer for him. Greetings from France

Dimash isn't saying Look at Me! Look what I did! He is saying, It is YOU, LIFE. He is looking at what Life has done for him. His parents, his teachers, his fans. What Life has given him. He doesn't want to disappoint. He loves his fans, and "Life, the creator". A love letter in a song.

This was the most beautiful song I’ve ever heard. It’s funny to me that when he doesn’t go high and low you guys don’t care for it. He has an incredible voice the emotion, the tone. There were like 3 words sang before the comments. So glad other reactors and professionals truly listen and know what an amazing voice this is. Can’t please everyone but to judge because he’s not using all his tools is funny to me. Good luck guys on you’re endeavor but I won’t be listening

Guys if you are going to watch a video without the subtitles for most of it, you are never going to understand why he sings a certain song in a certain way. This song is all about the lyrics and he has formed the melody around it perfectly. It's introspective and questioning and it needs no fireworks and quite frankly you are the only reactors ive seen that haven't been bowled over by this song, ive even seen 3 male reactors in tears because of it. Do yourselves a favour, either actually watch it again with the lyrics on or at least next time make sure you have the lyrics on before you start. You could see quite plainly by the title this wasn't going to be in English and the song was 2/3 over before you even thought about it.

Guys, Dimash is not just any singer, Dimash is a genius, and rest assured that every time he does something it is because it has meaning, a lesson, positive things for the world. Dimash is not just voice, vocal range, Dimash is much more than that. The song talks about LIFE=OMIR. About everything he has achieved and how grateful he is to her for letting him do it, and he asks life to please let him reach his goal and fulfill his dreams, even though the road has been difficult because he had to turn away from many things who loves, everything has been worth it. Let me fulfill my dreams life. It's the most beautiful thing I've ever heard and you looking at superficial things.

Yeah... you guys waited way too long to put on the subtitles. You missed so much of the message and point of the song! That being said, this song was not written to blow the roof off, it was his personal reflection on his life and all of the events and people that brought him here. I think it's such an important piece in his repertoire to see not only the long and hard work he has put in but also to see his deep-rooted appreciation for what he has. People forget that his amazing skills don't remove humanity or difficulty from his life. Being famous, a sensation, is not an easy life. He's tired, he's sick, he misses his home but he pushes on to continue bringing us love, music, and spreading peace wherever he can. He's incredibly special. Thank you for sharing "Omir".

Life - it's days upon days that unfurl. Life - it's joy that's not captured by a pearl Left behind as a trace... Life - has taught to love, trained to adore Why does the heart sometimes shudder to its core? Secrets amassed in a pace... Life, I whisper to you, I soar for you, To a dream with a white-winged hue. The sound of love doesn't fade, doesn't wound If it was ever brewed... Sometimes a summer, sometimes spring, Too much of a fleeting thing, Even if you create a stir, life, I consent to you, I'm drawn to you, I value, I adore you, Fate, don’t just pass me by, On the path of a dream, Do not abandon me, life, don't leave me high and dry! Making mistakes, causing despair, Do not demand forgiveness, I swear... Tomorrow comes again, a new dawn in sight, Indeed... there's no stopping the flow of time, right, Years that have become a tide... Happiness flies towards us, don't you see? Doesn't it have a home, a place to be? Years that have remained on our side... Life - Has seen black and white, Has tried wrong and right, Wings have unfurled in a flight... Found a friend in the journey... The bird has told a story, This life - it's glory. Doesn't differentiate between less and more, Come, it's your turn now, therefore, You're the hand that guides me, life, the one I look up to, I consent to you, I'm drawn to you, I value, I adore you, Fate, don’t just pass me by, On the path of a dream, Do not abandon me, life, don't leave me high and dry! Making mistakes, causing despair, Do not demand forgiveness, I swear...

K is the russian version. Q is the kazakh version. He is kazakh. That`s why. Since 2017 when he got a youtube channel, it was always named Dimash Qudaibergen. This song is not meant to entertain. It`s an expression of gratitude, but most of all a prayer. Lots of minor chords too, in the music, which he composed. That speaks volumes if you know anything about music. Although major / minor chords are a language generally perceived by the human ear. It paints the sense of melancholy, wonder, and gentle plea towards Life that he doesn`t commit errors in a life charged, in his perception, with responsibility, looking at the mass of people he has gathered around supporting him, and the places he has access to now. And CC spells it out if you turn it on at the beginning of the video, and not at the end.

The lyrics--first ones Dimash wrote for himself--imploring Fate to be kind as he begins his 30th year of life are everything. Not the song to review superficially. Dimash's last name in Kazakhstan is spelled like this: Qudaibergen. It is spelled differently in different languages because of pronunciation. Dimash's channel is DQ, so clearly he uses the Q. It is just language differences, like in China they pronounce his 1st name 'De ma shee', and in Russia they pronounce his last name as 'Qu dai ber gen ov'. Thank you for your honest reactions and comments. Love this gorgeous and personal song by Dimash. It is a gift to us, a thank you to life (Omir means 'life'). It is a thank you for his wonderful life and a plea to have it continue. Really moving.

It's because of the upcoming change of alphabet in Kazakhstan. In cyrillic they got both the letter К and Қ, different sounds but they used to translate them both to the latin K. In the new latin kazakh alphabet K is equalent to the cyrillic K, the letter Q is equalent to the cyrillic Қ, Dimash's last name is written with Қ, in cyrillic, that's why it's now Q in latin letters. It all makes sense if you know the sounds. More info here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kazakh_alphabets#Latest_developments

A short lesson in Cyrillic alphabet vs Roman alphabet (the one we use in the USA). The Roman letter K vs Q in Cyrillic is written K vs K with a squiggle at the foot. Dimash's last name starts with a K with squiggle not K without. The Roman equivalent is a K or Q but Q is closer to the correct pronunciation. Kazakhstan is now written as Qazakhstan in that country.

The Russian alphabet has no Q only K, but Kazakh language is adapting to the Latin alphabet which has a Q. Kazakh written was a mix of Cryllic, Arabic and latin, but in 2017 the government said they were switching to Latin based writing. So its been a slow transition. Ömir is said like Umer. If you don't like the song you'll probably get a lot of hate. He bared his soul writing this song for his fans. His first time writing both lyrics and music. And it was his idea for the MV too.

🌺 ‼HERE IS THE ANSWER TO YOUR "K" vs. "Q" QUESTION: Kazakhstan (Qazaqstan) was part of the former USSR (AKA, the Soviet Union). Prior to the Soviet era, the Kazakh language-at that time-was using the Latin alphabet. During the Soviet era, the transition was made to the Cyrillic alphabet (the alphabet used for the Russian language). Kazakhstan became independent in 1991-two years after the fall of the Soviet Union. Several years ago, the Kazakh government announced they would be transitioning back to the Latin alphabet. In the Cyrillic alphabet, Dimash's surname, Kudaibergen was spelled with a 'k'. Most Dears know Dimash's name spelled with a "K". In fact, I have his autograph with a 'K' from 2018. A few years ago, Dimash switched from "K" to "Q"-in preparation for the official transition to the Latin alphabet for the Kazakh (Qazaq) language. So to make a long story short, BOTH K and Q are CORRECT! 🥰

Q instead of K. Quazakstan changed their alphabet from Cyrillic to Latin in their drive for modernization.
@FawziaTung

Why did his name change from a K to a Q. Kazakhstan’s language is Kazakh which can be written with Latin script, Arabic script, or Cyrillic (Russian) script. Since it was one of the Soviet republics, Kazakhstan used Cyrillic alphabet. Now the consonant sound at the beginning of Qudaibergen is not found in Russian (nor in English, but close to the ق sound in Arabic). So they invented a new letter in the Cyrillic alphabet to represent it: a K with a little tail, like this: қ. However, when written in Russian or in English, it was usually spelled with the normal K because they don’t have the tailed one on their keyboard. That’s why he first became known as Kudaibergen. Then in 2018, the government decided to shift from the Cyrillic to the Latin alphabet, a process planned to take place over ten years. That sound is now represented with a Q. Thus the country is now spelled as Qazaqstan. And his name became Qudaibergen. You can hear it pronounced correctly when Dimash himself says it, or when a Qazaq host introduces him.
