Dimash is simply incredible and I'm almost certain he is not human, but an alien come to Earth to show us how it is done. His vocal range is amazing. This song is a French song I believe. If you want to hear a great song that was actually written for Dimash's vocals then I suggest "Stranger" it is such a good song and his range is even greater.

Welcome to the wonderful world of DIMASH 🥰 .. Believe me when I say that he is very much becoming well known here in the United States 🇺🇸. He’s had at Huge sold out concerts starting with New York which I missed out on because I didn’t know about him at the time 😣. He had Concerts in Los Angeles and in Vegas. He’s here in the United States quite often working on projects. And I believe he’s also now residing in Los Angeles or at least purchased a home there for when he does come. My favourite performance of this song is when Dimash sang through a terrible PA system in a restaurant during the Cannes Film Festival, in front of actors etc. Raw, no pitch correction, terrible reverb, great performance!

Do "The story of one sky". The video is a short movie, the singing ranges from growl, screaming, distortion, operatic, pop, jazz, tribal. Yes, it's a long song😅. You'll love it and by the end you'll beg that for a colab with Floor Jansen and Nightwish.

At the end Dimash was thanking the Slavic Bazaar Competition for giving him his big break when he won this competition in 2015. Here he is invited back at a guest artist in 2018. In 2021 he was one of the Judges and he sang a few amazing songs as a guest artist that year.

Oh, man, I’m soooooo glad to see this one on here. After the last Dimash performance, which you gauged as forced lip syncing by the producers of that live show, I thought that might’ve been a real letdown. Obviously, he’s totally capable of singing live, and they wouldn’t allow him to. At any rate, this was my initial Dimash experience way back when, hearing him for the first time. It’s plain to see he’s all over the map vocally and it’s a showstopper. Basically as only he can do. Because of him and other recent standout singers, I feel like we might be living in an age of vocal unicorns, for lack of a better term. There are some amazing voices at work right now, and maybe here in this era that’s completely what the world of modern singing should be.

Thank you once again David for your reaction and analysis. The original song was written in 1978 by Luc Plamondon, composed by Michel Berger for the late french singer, Daniel Balavoine. Dimash took it to another level. I've heard the original and it is not nearly as impactful as Dimash's version. He does have a live band performing on his SOS Digital Show video.

David's rating scale is from 1 to 10, not to 20. So it's a pretty good score. Besides, vocal ability is not everything. I, for example, can appreciate his range and his technique, but that's not the most important thing for me. There are many more other things in a performance to impress me.

Every youtuber who reacts first to the official video of "The Story of one sky" ends up paying 90% of their attention to the video content and barely to the voice. Just a recommendation :)

@@thewarriorforever Jesus Christ, chill! The mv is amazing. That's why the video eclipses most of the wonders Dimash does with his voice. All the youtubers who reacted to the mv first didn't realize that Dimash is actually doing the super deep voice and some of the high melismas because they are too absorbed in the images and the story of the video. The best way to watch and fully enjoy the mv is after hearing the live concert so that they can pay all their attention to the mini movie, knowing that all the voices they're hearing is actually Dimash and not backing vocals. Also, as I said, "it's just a recommendation". No need to get so crazy and misinterpreted about an opinion of another fan different from yours.

You haven't heard anything yet. His other songs in multiple languages (incl. English) of multiple genres will blow you away. He is the world's best singer bar none. He has had songs written exclusively for him because he is the only person in the world that can sing them. His range is from high baritone to whistle tone (he has hit D8 higher than Mariah Carey can do).

In his solo concerts, he always uses live instruments, but as you said some situations and venues they will use a track. The song was written in the 70s for the French/Canadian rock opera Starmania. Dimash has rearranged the song a bit to fit his voice better (gave it more octaves lol). And has sung this song dozens if not hundreds of times, so he's definitely got the Mic technique down.

I was hoping you would do this one!! One of the hardest French songs to sing..Dimash is an example of near perfect technical proficiency with an incredible range. Technically one of the best singers I've ever heard..I especially love his chest tenor opera and pop/rock belts..as someone who enjoys vocal gymnastics, he definitely fits the bill..with all of this being said, I personally would love to see what he could do with music that is less traditional/classical/pop. Being he can sing virtually anything, I'd love to see him play around in perfect imperfections, if that makes sense, but I heard he's exploring film making now..anyway, huge talent, yet not my favorite singer, although the last third of that song when he performs it always gives me chills..xo

Sorry but you are wrong..This version of Slavic Bazaar 2018 that with the version of I'm singer 2017 are not in my favorite versions,is not playback/lipsinc,is live but with much post-production,and this is not a fault of Dimash,also because is not his concert..However Dimash has more of 60,almost 70,different live versions of Sos and only 3 are playback/lipsinc,and this version of Slavic Bazaar 2018 is not one of them..My favorite version of this song is Online digital concert january 2021..The Boss King Angel Dimash Forever
