Slavic bazaar was the first international singing competition, that Dimash won. Because of that, he got an invitation to take part in the singing competition "I am a Singer" in China, which caused Dimash`s fame. I think I need to listen to that musical Notre Dame de Paris, because this song is really beautiful.

This was a competition for well known Opera singers, Sundet was competing and Dimash was invited to sing with him. Another great duet is Zarina and Dimash singing " A Question of Honor" It is unfortunate that you had the original song so implanted in your mind, because they made the it into a duet for 2 men.

And now, for you, we have a Dimash reaction where he sings your favourite song from this musical. What a treat! Sundet has a beautiful voice, a classic opera baritone. It was young Dimash the hosts were speaking of when they mentioned 4 octaves, though I believe he had 5 at the time. This was a competition show for opera singers, Sundet was a competitor, and Dimash was his guest performer. I believe Sundet did win the competition. My favourite part of this duet is when the two of them sang together, they sounded so good!

Hi Mustapha it was Dimash they were talking about, he had just win the Grand Prix at the Slavic Bazaar in 2016 the year before this performance which was a competition for opera singers and Sundet invited Dimash to duet this song with him. Dimash looks so young and he would soon be doing the Singer in 2017 and the rest is history 💖 Dimash goes back to Slavuc Bazaar as a guest performer each year and this year he was a judge too, and a very fair one 👍

The picture, I believe, is from "Evegeniy Onegin" - a classical russian poem by Alexander Pushkin. There is a duel between main hero and his (former) friend. Also there is an opera based on this poem. So thats where they connected with this performance.
