This performance is an excellent example of how Dimash builds up other artists, especially young ones. He takes such pride in children and loves to see them shine on stage. He will always do what he can to sort of minimize himself to make sure they have their moment in the spotlight and you can see the sincerity of his respect for these kids in the way he looks at them during the performance. Hi Carmen, this is actually my first time hearing Dimash. I am aware he is a worldwide phenomenon, I just hadn’t taken any time to look into him (I’ve been too busy watching Pentatonix reactions, some of which were yours). I am very familiar with this song because of John Groban who really made it popular back in 2003, you were quite young then. If you have not listened to that I suggest you look it up on YT and enjoy that experience. I agree with you that Dimash’s lower register is very rich and full, something not often experienced in someone with such a high-ranging voice. And I also agree he was very humble in modulating his volume so as not to overshadow the children. I’ll make an effort to listen to more of a variety of his works. I have always found this song so very inspirational! There are so many beautiful songs by Dimash but some people tend to focus too much on his range and high notes. Don't get me wrong his range and high notes are phenomenal. I would recommend listening to the live version of Omir which is his composition and with him singing, playing the piano and his younger brother on guitar. His live concert performances are the best as he is the ultimate performer. 😊

@@IsabelW1000 I did go out and listen to your recommended song with Dimash and his brother. It’s kinda tough to not talk about his range and high notes, for sure. I mean, I heard him sing an E5 twice; I also heard him sing a G3 followed immediately by an octave jump to G4, Not many tenors will get down to that G3. The song, itself, was interesting with some unusual chord progressions. One other thing I noticed Dimash did in this number (and that I have heard him do in another number) is actually whisper into the microphone. i’ve seen few people do that but it was quiet enough to hear him vocalize that whisper. Thanks for the recommendation, if I see something I think may interest you I’ll share :)

Здравствуйте Кармен, сделай реакции на все его исполнения в китайском шоу талантов. Там много каверов и очень известных. Он просто перепел эти песни и чуть ли не сделал их своими)...и эти каверы во многом сделали его известным. И ещё, если будете делать реакцию на песню Дайдидау/Daididau то обязательно с китайского шоу пожалуйста

If you like romantic songs, I recommend Okay and Akkuym (Aqquym) by Dimash. If you like energetic songs, then definitely the recently performed Lose Control, as well as from the online concert Kieli Meken. In the song Fly Away, Dimash is accompanied by great dancers. Additionally, you can see that Dimash is indeed a big guy. But it was only during the pandemic that he had the opportunity to rest at home and gain some weight. Because when Dimash works, he forgets to eat (or doesn't have time). And the song Fly Away was performed after the quarantine.

LiLaSi of the Ultimate Dimash Guide has started to update her videos, because as time marches on, some of the information becomes old and we get new videos. Originally the guide was posted in mid 2022, so 2 years has past already, so new information has been added. Also Dimash has 2 new performances from Te Singer 2024. One is a duet with Chante Moore called Lose Control and one solo performance of a new song called Angel Love. Which is in Kazakh and Mandarin.
