Another great reaction Rick❤️👍 I feel lyrics were kept simple for emphasis and to allow many non-english speakers to sing along. In my opinion, this song is like a vocal tapestry, as Dimash uses many voices to create an impression of a crowd of refugees struggling to adapt to a strange land. The New Wave Festival is a 4 day event to showcase young performers. Dimash was a judge this year plus performed 4 songs that likely boosted ticket sales.😉 Had not realized how new your channel is but will be skimming back over some of your other reactions later today when I get home from work. As a fellow Metal Gal may I recommend a very funny band from Italy... NanowaR of Steel. Excellent musical skills and clever lyrics. Try "Uranus" or Norweigan Reggaeton" to start. Need to laugh🤔 This is the band to see.😂😂😂 Another great choice to liven things up is Electric Callboy from Germany. They did a great collab with Baby Metal "Ratatata" but my favorite is "We Got the Moves" music video. On a more serious note, may I also suggest Lovebites "Hammer of Wrath" (Japan Metal), Bloodywood "Aaj" (India Folk Metal), Nemophila "Monsters" (Japan Metal), "Voice of Baceprot "God Allow me to Play Music" (Indonesian Muslim Metal) is excellent and same with Nini Music "Huyao"(Taiwan Folk Metal) Good luck on your vocal adventure🤘❤️‍🔥🤘 As for Dimash, he has over 100 performances to watch and all are amazing🔥🔥🔥 🥰🥰Much love from a Canadian Dear🇨🇦

Perhaps you are thinking of Krav Maga which is a martial art developed by the Israelis taken from some of the techniques used in boxing, judo, karate, Aikido and wrestling. All Dimash's movements are so fluid, artistically delivered, emotive and he moves his body like a dancer....gorgeous.

@@shireeni8665It’s not really a martial art like other types of martial arts are. 😊 It just takes what works and is easiest to implement to protect yourself as fast as possible. So it includes movements that would be forbidden, unfair or dangerous in sports like judo. Or tactics, like using your surroundings to your advantage. (Like grabbing things to hit with or as barriers) ❤

He is so awesome, isn’t he? Stranger is one of my absolute favorite songs. I get goosebumps every time I hear it. I’m a real fan of movies that have such a mystical or oriental atmosphere. And it was such a great idea by Dimash to use the Qobyz for that. The Qobyz is a very old Kazakh folk instrument and it’s spread among Kazakhs. The man who often is playing the Qobyz in Dimash’s performance (also here in Stranger) is the best on this instrument and a good friend of Dimash. His name is Olzhas Qurmanbek. You often can hear this instrument when Dimash sings in his native tongue like Samaltau, Qairan Elim or Òmir Òter. He sang Stranger for the first time at New Wave in Sochi, Russia in 2021. This is an international competition for young artists, founded in 2002 by Igor Krutoy. Dimash sang here as a guest and was also a member of the jury. Igor Krutoy, like so many other masterpieces, wrote this song specifically for Dimash and his incredible vocal range (in this song alone he sings 5 octaves F1-F6 I think). And the last note he held for 20 seconds. The way he switchs so affortlessly between the different registers and octaves in one song is so mesmerizing and unbelievable. Stranger was written by the famous Russian/Ukrainian composer, producer and songwriter Igor Krutoy. His and Dimash's collaboration created true masterpieces. He writes songs that only Dimash could sing with his vocal range, such as Olimpico, Stranger or Ave Maria. You’ll often see him accompanying Dimash on the piano. If Igor Krutoy is there, the song was also written by him.The two have no contract. Their cooperation is based more on mutual trust. It’s more like a father/son relationship. He wrote this song and others especially for Dimash’s wide vocal range. If you want to see another crazy, incredible and jaw-dropping performance then I suggest the song he sang at his concert in September 2022 in Almaty, Kazakhstan for the first time. It’s also his first song in Spanish. You won't believe me when I tell you, so you just have to see it. Thr instrument you mentioned is an old Kazakh instrument called a Kobyz & the sound is so ethereal & beautiful. He was just introducing & giving thanks to his Kobyz player when you stopped the video. I can see what you mean in your reference to Bruce Lee in this one. Yes, the clothes enhanced that, but also his grace of movement. Dimash has studied Tae Kwondo reaching a red belt, I believe, & is very athletic. He is a great soccer player, apparently & also swims a lot. He regularly swims underwater, which helps with his amazing breath control for those long notes! Thanks for your great reaction 😊🙏💞
