Dimash is a storyteller who uses his entire arsenal (technique, vocal range, body expression, style ...) as a resource to engage the audience in the story he is presenting! When we put the lyrics together, the story behind it, the feeling that it can awaken, then we understand that everything he does is not for personal exaltation, but to captivate and uplift what he is singing!

That was a great explanation of how Dimash uses all elements to create a total performance and bring each song to life. 👍

Thank you, Zoe, for your expertly knowledgeable and appreciative comments on Dimash's singing. He surely deserves all of that. He has been training daily since the age 5, he now is 26; that it has been going on for over 20 years. Not only is Dimash a vocal marvel, he is a marvel also as a human being.

Only the innocence and sincerity in the eyes of my beloved dog and the unparalleled vocal and artistic gifts of Dimash make me cry with deep emotion. Also another characteristic of this young man's personality is his genuine humility. What else can one say !

The reason why I like Dimash so much is his blending of musical styles, up and down different registers. That’s what makes him unique. The way he sang the words “ day mne “ , same note, 4 different styles , is what makes this song the most impressive. Ogni Pietra(also called Olympico) is a totally different song, more operatic

The special thing about Dimash is that no matter how pitched notes he says, he never loses hes flavor. I think even a lady would scream if she read those notes. The secret of this is that he has been educated since the age of 5, and his god-given vocal cords, because as far as we know, the structure of the vocal cords is both longer and a little thinner than that of a man. Previously, many teachers said that he uses Falsetto in high-pitched voices, but I think Dimash reaches very high-pitched notes by using his chest and head voice together, just like a soprano. Thank you for your reaction.

Yes, he gave his everything and more at that concert :) During the last song Just Let It Be you can see that he is totally exhausted after running around and introducing the band members during the Screaming and also running around the public to greet them. Still, you can hear no exhaustion in his voice during that last song :) He is an unbelievable singer and a human being!

@@Julia_2 I know, I've heard it too in different variations, but this one is absolutely identical with the 2018's Sochi performance. I mean the voice track (the orchestration is slightly different). He switches to "live" only for the final run (which in Sochi is absent). m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/jWqpnXeDeNRrgrc Just listen carefully to the two tracks. I have seen many other Dimash concerts live like this. People who traveled for hours to see him. In this concert that presents like many others all, or at least I felt, an electric wave that ran through my body. Something unimaginable that was close to us on a musical level or that could transport us to another dimension. The one to which God manifests himself or the one we think it is, will it be like this? I think yes. Which is by Dimash's voice. If God ever had a voice and gave someone a sound to manifest, it would be through Dimash's voice. I think Dimash's voice has the gift of God to make itself heard. I am not a believer but I started to believe so. There is something that ran through me in the body and that something is divine. Call it what you want, I believe that there may be something in certain beings today that may have that power. A hug, thanks for reacting to Dimash but ... I should hear it live. Greetings from Portugal.

There are so many things a reactor can actually say about his performance in Sinful Passion. The original song was 20 years ago and very ‘normal’, Dimash took it to stratosphere level. In this one performance, one can explain everything written in textbook singing from cover to cover. There are sounds from all registers, vocal colours, genres, breathe control, etc. as Dimash demonstrated just in one song.

Dimash is the best singer in the WORLD and there are no doubts about that, his voice is a prodigy of nature and a genetic marvel since his parents are two glories of singing from Kazakhstan since he was 5 years old, he sings publicly and has more than twenty years of lyrical training and graduated from the university of music, he is a singer, composer, arranger and multi instrumentalist, he plays more than seven musical instruments and sings in more than Ten(10) languages, he is also a great performer and a great artist who lives and feels music He is not an imitator of voices , Dimash has his own style and is one of the forerunners of the "Popera" he also has a very pleasant, Humble and simple personality, easy access, which makes it very easy to follow, he always travels with His family and friends is a very educated person and an example to follow, he has become known for his musical talent not for getting into trouble or scandals, It has a very wide vocal range of approximately 7 octaves ,he is a singer with a wide vocal range very versatile is Baritone, TENOR , Soprano, against TENOR, mezasoprano, everything at the same time is how to have 5 singers in one, it has a male and female voice, also many resources such as vibrato, "melismas", falsetto, Staccato, whistle tone, reaching a( D8 )live "Outside of Piano"at the concert of Gakku in an unforgettable day, at his young age he continues to improve and grow musically to perfection, he has a good physical presence he measures 191 cm or 6 "3", he is very famous and recognized in Asia and now he is becoming known In Europe and America, ALL their songs are spectacular, it always goes from low to high, soft to spectacular at the end, in my almost half a century of life I never heard so much quality and it is the hope of continuity of the classical genre because all the old tenors have already Almost all of them died and Dimash can sing like them but none of them can sing like Dimash, being a Man he sings better than any Tenor and his female voice is superior to that of any average Soprano, greetings and a hug from Venezuela🇻🇪, "Dears" Forever ❤️👍🏻 Sorry for copying and pasting my informative comment in ALL the Video reactions to Dimash what I see but I do it with the intention of sharing information about him and what I think that in the music industry there are many artists who have been successful and have no talent and are bad people and they do not set a good example for the youth, Dimash and his music deserve to triumph in America, Europe and the whole WORLD, do you want to have already read my comment please come by without problem there is always someone who for the first time knows this information and I won't get tired of sharing it with all my friends"Dear" around the world, thanks for reading and for supporting Dimash 🙏🏻S.O.S. Dimash consistently says that his range should not be the focus, 'it's just my instrument'. And while it is otherworldly other galactically (my word :)) impressive to say the least, WHAT IS REALLY THE AMAZING FACTORS IS THE RESONANCE, TONE, RICHNESS, TAMBOUR OR COLORS OF HIS VOICE, AND MOST IMPORTANT IS HIS EMOTIONALLY SINCERE HEART FELT, SOUL DEEP FEELING!!!! THAT JUST POURS OUT OF THIS MAN AS HE TELLS US HIS STORIES, AND TAKES US ON THESE SOUL JOURNEYS OF FLIGHT UP UP AND OUT INTO TRULY OTHER WORLDS AND OTHER GALAXIES!! DIMASH'S VOICE POURS OUT OF HIM INTO THE WORLD LIKE A HEALING BALM. It is THESE PAINTINGS of rich color and texture THAT HE CREATES that does EXACTLY what great art is suppose to do: elevate hearts and minds up and out of ordinary daily existence and transport us into other realms of being and transcendence. DIMASH IS The Michael Angelo, the Rembrandt of voice!!! A great range without this would not have the world wide impact that Dimash has. Listening to a singer without these qualities who had as big a range as Dimash would hold our interest only very briefly. JUST a big range would not captivate our imaginations or set a flight our spirits, hearts and minds the way Dimash's story telling thru song does. In a documentary, he said "I want to help people forget their troubles for a little while and TAKE THEM TO ANOTHER WORLD". CHECK! DONE! That was my first GUT feeling/thought when I heard him for the first time: I am hearing a sound and level of soul expression from another world; something I have NEVER heard on earth before. Yes tears POURED out of my eyes upon hearing Dimash for the first time singing SOS. I HAVE NEVER CRIED UPON HEARING ANY SINGER BEFORE!!! And I HAVE been to so many concerts and have heard all the "GREATS" in modern music LIVE from Streisand, to Bocelli, to Brightman, to Povarotti and many more. All wonderful, loved them, still do. BUT NOT A ONE OF THEM EVEN COMPARES TO DIMASH, NOT EVEN CLOSE!!!. NOT TO MENTION TO SEE THIS VOICE PACKAGED IN THE MOST BEAUTIFUL FORM AND SYMMETRY to boot!! And on a funny note regarding his vocal "range"...he is like the porn star of voice.....if you know what I mean LOL. NOT always, but in this case, in Dimash's case..... 'size matters'! AND MAN!! DOES HE KNOW HOW TO USE his instrument!!!! LOL :) :) :o :) ok.....me bad....but you have to admit, it applies, it's true!! and it's funny too :) liked, subscribed & belled :) LOVE THE REPLAYS!!!!!!!!! Last: WAIT TILL YOU HEAR HIS OPERATIC SONG "OLYMPICO" - This is a particularly great one on KZbin: Dimash Kudaibergen & Igor Krutoy - Olimpico 2,531,860 views•Jul 14, 2019•

Dimash is university trained in classical opera and also holds a degree in contemporary pop music and jazz with a major in vocals, and now has finished his master degree in music composition. Now he is planning to start his doctorate in Musicology. At the age of 5 years old, he said a piano was out of tune and he could reproduce notes, so their parents and teacher came to know he has absolute pitch. At the same age he won a piano contest and he used to draw himself on stage with his musical instruments. His talent and skills are undeniable, his level is above all 🔝🔝🌟👏🎤 I like your analysis and objetive comments, please more Dimash. 👍👍🔝🌹 Love is like a dream, Your love, Samaltau (Tokyo Jazz Festival)

Dear Zoe, thank you for reacting to Dimash again. This song is one of my favourits. There are many songs by Dimash I love very much and it is impossible for me to say which one is my number one. It depends on my mood. But there are a couple of songs by him I really don't like (I won't name them because some Dears would roast me for that 🤐) and some versions/arrangements of songs I like, while I can't stand others. I would say, that I love 85% of Dimash's performances and I'm compleatly obsessed by him as an artist and human being. Lots of love from Switzerland 🤗🇨🇭

I offer a little information about the song "Sinful Passion". This song is old. She's over 20 years old. Music by Baigali Serkebayev, and the words to this song were written by the famous contemporary Russian poet Ilya Resnick, author of many Russian music hits The first performer of this song was a singer from Kazakhstan Batyrkhan Shukenov (he died in 2015). You have now watched a version of this song at Dimash's solo concert entitled "Arnau" which took place in Nur Sultan, Kazakhstan on June 29, 2019. He didn't imitate the first performer. Dimash used all his phenomenal abilities and made a completely different interpretation of this song. I can't remember a single song where the singer changed 5 voices (from baritone to soprano) and 4 octaves in one song. And Dimash did it easily. At the end of the song, Dimash sang vocals for 22 seconds in one breath. Dimash tells a great story and draws us into it. Many viewers cry, others have chills. And all together they sit like under hypnosis /// I recommend seeing how Dimash sang this song for the first time in Russia in Sochi at the New Wave Festival on September 9, 2018 (from The Dimash Channel) kzbin.info/www/bejne/jWqpnXeDeNRrgrc

Hi I'm from Brazil! For those who like information about Dimas' songs: The story behind this song is very interesting: The The Band composer of the song, is also from Kazakhstan and this version of Dimash revitalized the song. The song was originally played in 1998 and the band's name is A'Studio (Kazakhstan's pop music group based in Russia, "Alma-Ata Studio", city of Almaty). The main singer (to whom Dimash was a fan) left the band in 2000 and died in 2015 of a heart attack: His name was Batyrkhan Shukenov. The lyrics of the song are by the famous Russian poet Ilia Reznik together with Baigaly Serkebayev, who is the keyboardist at A'Studio, with long hair and a mustache.

And my favorite songs from Dimash are "Love is like a dream", "Hello" cover of Laonel Richie, "Adagio" and " Unforgettable Day", in which the music was written by Dimash himself at the age of 19, just watch the version of the concert from Gakku, there he hits the note D-8 Thank you for your reaction.

"What is your favorite Dimash song?" ..... Yes. This version of Sinful Passion is very good. And as each live performance has a unique touch, it's the first performance he did in 2018 at Sochi that is the benchmark. The original band of the song accompanied him and the cello in it was absolutely hauntingly moving. It brought Igor Krutoy to his feet to give him a standing ovation and come out of retirement to collaborate with Dimash. The rest is history as the duo produced hit after hit for the years to follow.

This is the link of Ogni Pietra: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mpyzhGmqbZmknZY. This song is composed by Igor Krutoy for Dimash. Igor Krutoy is a famous (billionaire) composer from Russia, who came out of retirement to work with Dimash.

Ánd.. Dimash has also several songs whiteout the extreme acrobatics (although I love those too!) but still such beautiful songs. As always he gives all his emotions! For example Salmaltau, sang at the Tokyo festival in his own studio accompanied by just two musicians. It’s really special.

I'm from Floripa, Brazil!! Google translate: Dimash is incredible... Sinful and SOS, these were the songs that "called" me to meet this wonderful artist. As you Zoe comments, he practices intensely... He lives the music... he lives what he really loves. Ahh, and you Zoe, you are also an amazing person... you are. You also love what you do. And so your comments were truly natural! A kiss in everyone's heart.

Wow! This was not the typical version of Sinful Passion I’ve watched so many times! The performance I’ve usually seen is with the original band (Studio A) with composer Igor Krutoy in the audience. This was - as usual - a visually stunning performance and, despite the slight variants in the instrumentalisation, an emotive and explosive version. I kept holding my breath, waiting for the traditional lament that Dimash introduced in honour of the late lead singer of Studio A and was not disappointed when you finally let it go on. Musical porn? Lol! Maybe there is something to this novel terminology with respect to Dimash’s singing. He also changed up the ending. I think someone had recommended Love is Like a Dream... I also love his Kazakh songs, but also love his ensemble performance with Super Vocal Boys of a Queen Medley (I think you can find it on Vimeo but not KZbin.).

He is a vocal athlete. He describes singing as a ‘big sport’ or ‘great sport’ meaning you need physical fitness and constant training. I’m so glad you retracted those comments you made in SOS. I acknowledge it may have been your first Dimash reaction without any knowledge of his voice, but the truth is you have to know his voice before you can comment otherwise it’s just nonsense because he does not conform to what is the norm. He cannot be evaluated by what other people are capable of, just cannot. Try looking at OLIMPICO from his channel. The World Skills Kazan version. Mind blowing.

THANK YOU for your reaction and commentary! My FAVORITE Dimash performance is his “Samaltau,” a traditional Kazakh ethnic song about a young man from what is now Kazakhstan who was conscripted by the Russian Czar to fight in WWI. The traditional instruments mimic sounds of nature (wind, rain, water) and animals (cattle, digs, wolves). The young man was forced to March for many miles to the front, leaving behind his aging parents, his home and homeland. He wondered if he’d be killed in battle, never to see his parents and homeland again. I explain this because the best performance is the Tokyo Jazz version, which Dimash sings in Kazakh and doesn’t have any translations. It’s very different from S.O.S. and Sinful Passion.

Zoe, you nailed it! I have been watching Dimash, & reaction video's since 2017. Many vocal instructor's from all part's of the globe has responded like you did. Dimash is truly a work of art! The best part of Dimash is not his singing, but the fact of how humble he is. That show's the character of the family he has, starting with the grand-parent's who did the main raising due to being the 1st born child. Have a great day!! Illinois,USA

Hi, ZOE. I think I said it once before that you for sure one of favorite vocal trainers on my collection of reactors...and there are many. Thank you for your being so open and honest. Your comments on SOS should not be dismissed because Dimash was really an unknown figure to you at the time. Sinful Passion proves more than enough that you have since picked up on Dimash and learnt much more about what's important about this artist. With that said, what a wonderful and insightful reaction. I enjoyed every little bit of it. Thanks. ❤

Lovely reaction and some great information. I really enjoyed it. My favourites change by the day and my mood. When I need to have a lift because I need energy to get my body to move. I love listening to Olimpico/ Ogni Pietra. When I am in a reflective mood I often listen to Love is like a dream or Oceans over time. When I am missing my mum I tend to listen to Autumn strong or Daybreak. When I wish people would remember we are simply one people not separated by race, religion, gender and such I love war and peace or we are one. Those are just some of the songs that reflect moods throughout the day. There are so many. So I just pull up the song that suits how I feel at the moment. I throw in other artists as well of course. I enjoy a wide variety of music. BTS to Pavarotti to George Winston to Enya to The Kingston Trio or CCR. My playlist looks like a hodgepodge of different styles. 🤣

Dimash himself says that range is not his major focus, though of course, his fans love it. Because range can be affected by lack of rest, health, and even the weather a singer must be prepared to sing beautifully and connectedly no matter what the range. Thank you for the reaction:)

That one is from the ARNAU :Kinectic voice concert... you should see also the first exhibition to compare, from the New Wave Festival in Sochi with the original band that produced that song in 1990 the "A'Studio" from Kasakistan and very famous in Russia... In this video DIMASH sings Sinful Passion after 1:57h of hard working performance... the concert is all about 2:30 hours total. He's not just a singer, he's got what it's called "the perfect pinch"... His concerts are a roller coaster of emotions and delightful melodies with his chameleonic voice. He's a well trained qualified Olympic voice athlete!! Insane too!! Dimash Qudaibergen is a living compendium of singing techniques for anyone who wants to learn, study or achieve better results. Once he said he trains at least 3 hours a day... he sings since his 5 years old. The translation is not important, if you (we) have the sensibility to appreciate other's work. Later, if we want to sing the song, it can be important to understand the meaning of course. Even the history behind the lyrics . It's only a personal choice... With Dimash we always "understand" the song and it's meaning even if he sings in Kasak, Russian or Chinese... and I'm Portuguese. Some of the most iconic songs that DIMASH performs aren't in his mother language. He feels it like their own. The way he delivers the song, he's acting on stage, thats not just training, it's a natural gift. People just cry, run out in tears simply like that!! In any country, culture, language or gender. Even sing with him simply because... Why translation? what for?
