Dimash came to fame during a show in China called the singer. He was the only non Chinese and came in 2nd place. We know he won 1st place but China is China! Dimash has been professionally trained since age 5. He was 22 in 2017 during that competition. His English was not too good but in my opinion he spoke better than some who only speak English. Anyway, Dimash has fans that he calls Dears around the World. More fans than many famous singers who have been singing for years wish they have. He is such a talented and humble young man who will be 28 in May 2022. Every song he sings will keep you on the edge of your seat. He is working on his Doctorate degree now. There is no better professional singer in this world. Just like any great athlete, Dimash worked hard to get to where he is now. There are many who could learn from him. Thanks for your reaction.

You are gonna love your Dimash journey so much.. It is a joy to watch you... I became a Dimash Dear in 2017.. I knew within 3 songs that he had a very music rich childhood.. Mum n dad are both pro' singers.. The Singer performances are all well chosen, emotion based covers.. He then had a year of concerts in China.. Unforgettable Day is memorable, lol.. He did take part in a American talent show, but watch those videos in your own time.. He then had his 1st Europe concert in London and I realised he was Muslim.. He vocalised the beginning of Autumn Strong.. I was in heaven... My heart was filled with joy watching his mum watch her son.. I was on a high for weeks.. Fans put the 2+ hour concert on KZbin.. I listen to SOS & Autumn Strong most days.. I love it when he vocalizes which he does to Know and is my daily morning wake up.. At 4:20 in this video you can spot his tongue vibrating... Dimash dimashifies every performance with his magic.. His 2021 digital concert, because of covid is awesome.. He sings Marigold n makes his mum cry with pride... Enjoy.. ThankQ from Kent UK xXx

The guy who stands in the audience afterwards is Igor Krutoy, who partners with Dimash later on as a composer just for him. Dimash’s ability brought him out of retirement just to compose again, and he’s a billionaire so it’s not like he needed to work! Keep reacting!! Enjoy! 😊

Igor is worth between 14 and 30 billion and works with DIMASH for the pure enjoyment of music. His mother told him he needed to get active in music again and find someone to mentor and work with; and he found DIMASH here.

Dimash has the most humble, loving, enchanting, humoristic, respectful and grateful personality on earth. Really a fresh breeze in the artist world. Maybe you can't imagine but you'll find that he's even getting better and better as he matures. The audience man in the white shirt is Igor. This is what let him know he wanted to come out of retirement to work with Dimash. That 1 breath at the end was 22 seconds. The stop was a technical issue. There is video of the same thing without the break. 🎶👱‍♀️👗👠👠💓

GREAT SADNESS The astounding run before the climax is a Kazakh mourning chant he inserted into his performance in tribute to a recent band member's death, which stunned them and endeared him to the audience. Notice the silence of the band and then the drummer picked it up. So like him. They wrote this song and are famous in the region. It was so loved he left it in from then on.

Hello, I’m from Brazil! For those who like information about Dimas' songs: The story behind this song is very interesting: The band that accompanies Dimash is the same one that composed the song, without the singer who died after a heart attack! The band is also from Kazakhstan and this performance by Dimash revitalized the song. In addition, the final part he added, with an oriental technique. The song was originally performed in 1998 and the band's name is A'Studio (Russian-based Kazakhstani pop music group, "Alma-Ata Studio", city of Almaty). The dead singer (to whom Dimash was a fan) left the band in 2000 and passed away in 2015 and his name was Batyrkhan Shukenov. The lyrics are by the poet Ilia Reznik together with Baigaly Serkebayev, who is the keyboardist with long hair, which we see in the video accompanying Dimash.

This was another very enjoyable reaction. This was his 2018 guest performance at the New Wave competition held annually since 2002 at the New Wave Hall in Sochi Olympic Park. The band A-Studio is originally from Kazakhstan. The keyboard player, Baigali Serkebaev, composed the song together with the poet Ilia Reznik, and the song was first performed in 1998. The singer of the group A-Studio passed away in 2015, and in this concert, the group was backing up guest vocalists. The triangle man is multi-percussionist Ilya Pokrovsky, a very talented man and a close friend of Dimash and member of the Dimash team (DQ Team). He plays various percussion instruments and accompanies Dimash in all his concerts. Someone explained that the special tribal riff is something practiced in Kazakhstan, Mongolia, and other parts of Asia. A similar technique is also used in some parts of the Middle East. It is referred to by some as a "glottal stop". We use it too when we say "uh oh". A Kazakh KZbinr commented that Dimash used a Kazakh singing technique, called 'komeymen aytu'. You can hear it among the Turan Group. Sakha people use this technique too; they call it 'kylyhah'. I read somewhere that the tribal vocalization was a tribute to the deceased singer, as it is similar to a technique usually used by women in Kazakh funeral ceremonies. This competition was organized by the man in the white shirt who stood up in the first row, Billionaire Igor Krutoy, a famous Ukrainian and Russian music composer, performer, producer, and musical promoter. He invited Dimash to perform and it was this performance that prompted him to come out of retirement and compose masterpieces for Dimash to sing, such as I Miss You, Ogni Pietra, Your Love, Stranger, and Ave Maria, just to name a few. Since this concert, he has been collaborating with Dimash, writing music with his vocal range in mind, and often accompanying him on the piano. So you'll see more of him. There is another performance of this song of one of his more recent concerts. It is as good or better because you can hear certain parts clearer and the camera stays on him most of the time. You've got to react to Stranger! In my opinion, it's probably the best and most recent example of the full range of his vocal capabilities as a whole, and the song itself is absolutely gorgeous. That is Igor Krutoy, one of the biggest music producers in Russia. From that day, he came out of retirement to write music specially for Dimash. From that association, you will hear masterpieces; Olympico, Your love, Stranger, Ave Maria, I miss you, Passione. Each one of these is just incredible. There are also the songs that Igor had written for other singers, that Dimash takes to an incredible level; these songs are Love is like a dream, Mademoiselle Hyde, Know, Ti Amo Cosi, Ulysses, and I am sure I am missing a few. Он 40 лет писал песни для Россиских певцов и певиц для Лары Фабиан но не был известен в мире.На старости лет познакомился с Димашем. Пригласил Димаша на юбилейные концерты в честь своего 65 летие. You wrote a novel, oh my. There might be a war with his country soon with Russia and the country which I can't seem to recall. Hope he stays safe. Dimash is my absolute favorite but my second favorite is Gabriel Henrique. He had no training at all and can hit lots of high notes with his voice. His range is not as large as Dimash but he is a natural. You mention female voice well Gabriel is pretty good with that too.

@@oscargovea5487, I saw videos where Gabriel sings in his apartment. It is sad he has never sung live like Dimash. Could be he is not as well known as Dimash. Again Gabriel is my second favorite singer. Gabriel also was in a contest. I have also seen videos of a girl Amira Willighagen now 14. She sang at nine in a contest Nessun Dorma, please check it out if you have not seen her. She had no training at all either. There is one where she is singing with a tenor.

We all have seen music teachers reacting to him with technical analysis of his abilities. It was less said in an example of Dimash performances, what can singers push forth to vocal performances from *creative perspective* in music industry by listening what Dimash does. Thank you for having the skill to know when, (and when not), to break in. So many vocal coaches defeat their purpose when they break into the middle of a phrase to explain it, when in fact we can't understand without hearing the phrase in its entirety. You, on the other hand, do the right thing and wait for the right time, pause, explain, and backtrack, and so, we learn. Good on you, Chris. I try not to interrupt in “bad spots” but sometimes I just don’t know. Thanks for the comment and for being a subscriber! :) As far as not knowing (SSShadow Wolf), I can’t speak for others, but being very gifted in many areas of music besides singing, I have a pretty great ear and innate musical ability in skills. This helps me kind of “guess” phrasing…and it’s usually spot on.

Swimming is a large part of his physical training and he swims laps holding his breath to expand his lung capacity. You just witnessed the result. He does it at the end of Stranger which I highly recommend!

What a difference a little understanding can do…. I’m blessed to have a teensy understanding of Russian (more so of Polish, but I was exposed to Russian before Polish). So, the “daj mnie” (die m-neh) that they translate as ‘Let me’ is closer to ‘Give me’. The original lyrics lend themselves to the passion described and demonstrated by Dimash’s singing. The eastern style of singing Dimash interjected was a traditional lament and honoured the original singer who had passed a few years back. This video is the first time we see Igor Krutoy in the audience for Dimash. Igor came out of retirement specifically to work with Dimash. Thus far he has composed specifically for Dimash Olimpico, Stranger, Ave Maria, I Miss You and has composed other works that Dimash has revisited such as Vocalize (lyrics were added to this melody to create Know)…I’m sure I missed a few. Dimash is an admirer of Lara Fabien and has sung a few of her songs as well and they performed together at a birthday concert gala for Igor Krutoy. @@anahills3836 give me makes so much more sense lyrically! It is longing, passion, desire … “Let me?” Not the best choice of translations. (Plus with “Give me”, increasing in intensity each time! Whoa!)

Oh, boy. This should be fun! Oooh. I forgot to suggest Ogni Pietra/Olympico. At the end of this song you’ll see a man in a white shirt leading the standing ovation. That’s master composer Igor Krutoy, who came out of retirement to work with Dimash. Their first collaboration was Ogni Pietra. Also, I think I’ve mentioned this before but check out Peter Barber. He’s a reactor/singer who has some pretty awesome covers out. Start with Change on the Rise.

Another awesome reaction. Don't forget this was a cover and he's playing with the original band "A Studio". The bit where he reverberates between 2 notes is actually a prayer for the original singer who died a few years before. The original version is no where near as good as his version though. Ty for your knowledgeable and wonderful reaction to king Dimash. He is a wonder to behold. You would have really seen what a humble and kind man he is if you had watched it till the end. He thanked the band and has some really kind words to say about them. They wrote that song and asked Dimash to perform it after their lead singer tragically died.
