No, this doesn’t work with pantera. You can play Led Zeppelin sloppy as Jimmy Page was a pretty weak guitarist. Dimebag was one of a kind with flawless metal playing. Don’t get me wrong, Dave didn’t screw up everything, he just needs to train his right hand technique for riffs to sound punchy and smashing as they should

I got all emotional at the end with the floods outro. Dime's music was a big part of my introduction to metal music and I will be forever grateful. Great overview of not only Darrell rhythm feel with the crunchy riffs but his soulful leads on the solos. Like so many players he wasn’t limited to playing in this ‘rock boxes’,..full command of the neck-very studied.
