I was in grad school working my part time job at Best Buy and a co-worker came up to me and just said “Dimebag is dead”. I heard him as clear as day but my brain did not comprehend. Asked him to repeat himself, then asked if he was joking. I don’t remember anything else about that day.

Man i love Vinnie's style so much, you can immediately tell it's him behind the kit without seeing him. The fills, the groove and the way he synced with Dimebag is unmatched.

I think their support for each other was impeccable. They both loved music, they wouldn't leave one without the other. Music and my brother or no deal. Dime refused Megadeth offer because they wouldn't take Vinnie on drums. I agree and am thankful Dime didn't play for such a power hungry asshole like Dave Mustaine.
