@@Yukii0Shogo after playing around with it... More than likely inhales... I can achieve it, but it's difficult to pitch them specifically which he does seemingly effortlessly.

they are inhales, I can do them as well. but its very tricky to get it right. The sound is essentially a result of pushing your vocal chords together and leaving a very small small space in between them so that the “whistle tone” is made when you inhale. if you push them together with too little force; you won’t be able to produce the sound, and if you do it too hard; you will end up hurting yourself. Sho on the other hand has impeccable vocal control, so he can do essentially do them perfectly every time. It is the result of lots of practice. Certainly it comes easier to some than others, but it it’s definitely possible!
