Sloppy AF. I can't get the harmonics in the beginning of the solo to come out nicely. I record with my preamp directly into my computer, so I only hear my unplugged guitar sound when recording :D:D Sketchy but it will do for now.

So you record without any effects and add them later? I actually think you achieved that Marshall rhythm sound from the album very accurately. Even the clean intro sound is spot on. Well done.

@@CrusTeek Yeps, I run my Soldano slo preamp clone direct into computer, chorus, delays. eq etc is added after recording. I eq match my tone (both clean and distortion) to the album tones in recording program. (actually tone matches only on my arcane lifefore mysteria cover. My other covers have more mids, and sound a bit darker because of that). I did some frequency response analysis stuff to match the tone as closely as I can. Also Spiritual Black Dimensions isn't marshall tone at all... They recorded spiritual black dimensions with mesa boogie Triple rectifier and engl savage 120 into mesa 4x12, along with a old tc electronics boost pedal. Silenoz told this to a friend of mine. (Konstantin - Divinecode on yt) He has screenshots of his conversation with Silenoz.. Live astennu used marshall jmp1 preamp into marshall 9200 poweramp, Silenoz used boss gf7000 (or something like that) and the same marshall poweramp. There is some pictured of astennu's rack gear, 2x 9200 and 2x jm's, (probally double for backup). There is also a 32 band eq rack unit.. You can even tell by the eq settings that he scoops the mids heavily. irrc there is also another gold colored unit in his rack, probally the marshall effect unit that looks kinda like a jmp1. I forgot what the name is.
