Hi David! how can you change the sound while you're playing? Do you use a switch pedal, like the Korg Kronos? Greetings from Chile! :D
@DavidGutierrezRojas3 жыл бұрын
@@LuisOrtiz-wz9vm Yes you can use a sustain pedal in combination with the use of midi channels. I use 2 midi channels to switch sounds.

Traduction: My friend, this cover is amazing, I liked it too, I also imagine that you got it with just the song and that is to be admired. I have always liked to learn to play the synthesizer but I could not because I don't have the money, but first I would like to know your recommendations before start doing this, I am very grateful because it is an instrument that I have always loved, my greetings!

I've used Google translate to read your comment. What I can make out of it is that you would like to play the keyboards as well, but you don't have enough money for it? There are a lot of budget models out there like the kross v2, krome, m50 or X50, you can also look to older models like the X5, triton le series or even the trinity, although you'll definitely hear that the sounds from those models sounds out-dated. You can also try shopping for second handed instruments. The Roland Fantom X series are also great workstations as well as the Motif series from Yamaha.
@DavidGutierrezRojas6 жыл бұрын
What I would recommend you if you have a low budget is buying second handed instruments. A lot of workstations/arrangers are still having a good quality overall. You could also buy a midi controller and play songs via digital audio workstations (DAW) and VST libraries as an alternative for korg/roland/yamaha workstations. Concerning DAW software, I record my covers with Logic. Reaper or Cubase are also very good ones. As for practising: start with easy songs and practice everyday. Don't make it an overkill though otherwise you'll end up with a injury. Do it step by step. Plan a certain time to practice for example 15 minutes per day and if the progress is getting better, level it up to 20 minutes, 30 minutes and so on. In general it's like fitness. You wouldn't start with a deadlift of 150 kg at your first day a the gym, unless you're a Marvel Superhero. Also, have a LOT of patience and be careful that your goal isn't going to turn into an obsession. If it's a devotion, that's fine. But an obsession can turn out quiet unhealthy if you don't look out. Another thing is: having idols is fine for inspiration, but don't focus too much on the level of other musicians. Instead concentrate on your own personal progress and the fun of it and if you really feel the need for comparing yourself with others, compare yourself to who you were yesterday, not to who someone else is today. I've learned from this in the past through trial and error. So yeah in short, that's the advice I would give you.

Great job man! Only thing, the main intro string lead should be played with both hands, with the left hand playing the same notes an octave (or two?) lower. And the chorus lead is played with the right hand only, and the left hand should be playing the root chords. Cheers
