I like the dinan, it has a nice refined sound, its not always about being loud, sometimes u just want alittle volume and refinement

You might be surprised if I told you that I bought an M5 F10 and it is equipped with a German-made Hamann exhaust, the sound of which is very loud, but I will buy the car’s original exhaust from BMW and put it on the car. Do you know why? Everything the company put into the car and it really knows the positive side of it. Maybe you need the low sound of the exhaust while traveling in the M5 in order to relax while driving. Do you agree with me?

I disagree. Manufactures put parts on the car which will fit most customers. I am not most customers, and I prefer a bit of a louder exult.

Actually watching the two M5 back to back, the cold starts sound pretty similar - loud! My cold is loud too but I like it and don't want to get rid of it. My solution is to put it into gear immediately after start up. I have done this for the past 2 years and the neighbours have not complained.

Instead of doing that you can lightly tap/feather the throttle and it quiets down the exhaust during startup. I had insane loud cold starts after going catless on mine. This helped a lot lol
