Always keep your marriage private. There is no need or positive outcome from sharing your struggles. I have been with my husband 18 years and I have never spoken a bad word about him. I believe he reciprocates that respect. If we have an issue with one another, we discuss it between ourselves. No marriage or person is perfect but others are quick to judge as if they live a flawless life. I respect your commitment to being private. Never change, you are an awesome person Dina 😊

@T J True and honestly what can you really do for a person when they have marital problems. I always tell people if they think it's in my capacity to help then tell me your problem otherwise keep it to yourself. Venting may feel good but people lose respect for your partner if you constantly bash them.

I always get this deep happiness when ever I watch you guys especially since I can’t fast anymore (health problems which has gone worse over the years) and it reminds me of when I was able to fast and watching you guys while waiting for iftar and now that I can’t and how sad I feel about not fasting, it almost makes me feel included (?) like I’m apart of Ramadan(it’s so hard to explain). But anyways thank you so much for sharing your Ramadan with us and please don’t feel pressured to post daily if you aren’t able to. Take care of yourselves first! ❤️

I love your attitude about career/work and I completely agree, you have to do what you love and what you are passionate about or you will be resentful about work and unhappy. I am a teacher and I try to transfer this to my students, you don't have to choose your job at 15 and stick to it until you die, you can and probably will change your mind about what you want in life and it's normal, it does not make you a failure. We put too much pressure on kids to know what they want and/or are good at early on as if there is an expiration date on this decision, when there is not - life is full of ups and downs and we change so much through our lifetime. Even when you know what you like/want there is always room for growth and change.

When Sid dropped the mac n cheese 😅 loved this! I agree you can share parts of your life without having to go into details, some people literally live for internet drama, but soaps and actual televised dramas exist for a reason haha.

Here since forever ago & totally in support of I Like Me & all your ideas. Being creative is very hard & you consistently do a very good job. I appreciate all of your time in this social/video world. Covid is annoying & sucks, breaks are necessary & y’all have been there for your audience as well. Just an energetic fist bump to you & your family. I keep telling everyone I know, to get up, brush ourselves off & recreate ourselves after this crazy train couple of years, and to always keep going. Good time for creativity & reinventing. Mass boost to people world wide, even with the planetary unrest. 💚

The perm causes damage whenever there is former bleach in the cuticle of the hair (previous blonde); breaks the disulfide bonds too far down. I’m a hairstylist LOL I highly recommend apple cider vinegar to heal the cuticle of your hair. 1 part ACV to 2 parts water for 15 minutes and rinse. Love your vids my gal 💕 xx

Looking forward to the next video!

Sorry, it was generous of you to answer but I don't think a question on weight is a good thing to ask anyone and especially when someone has an eating disorder!!! I don't mean to be rude, I just feel protective towards you - obviously you didn't have to answer if you didn't want to, excuse me if this is an unwanted and unnecessary comment. Your hair is byootiful also btw :) p.s. you answered it really well tho thanks and you are so wise on this and on deciding on not to share drama xxx

Hi everyone, non muslim here :) I am really curious whether someone could explain to me why women who dont wear the headscarf / fully covering clothes, do pray in prayer clothes? Are prayer clothes more obliged / not negotiable whether you wear hijab or not? Thanks for enlightening me! :) x
@user-xy5bc5mq4r2 жыл бұрын
Yup, you need to cover up. It's non negotiable since you will be talking to God ( aka: Allah ) / praying to him. So you have to be modest :) even for the girls who don't wear headscarves

Hi, non-Muslim here 💁🏽♀️ just out of curiosity, can someone please explain to me why you break your fast with a date?
@halla69732 жыл бұрын
It’s a practice of the prophet Mohammed SAW, when he would break his fast with a date & it’s now a continuous Ramadan tradition
@keilinilu-po66102 жыл бұрын
@@halla6973 thanks for replying. If you don’t mind me asking, is there any significance as to why the prophet Mohammad used a date? Does the date symbolise anything or am I reading too much into it?
@muslimahb29532 жыл бұрын
@@keilinilu-po6610 i know for sure there are alotttt of health benefits. But anything more i don't know.
@halla69732 жыл бұрын
@@keilinilu-po6610 yes it’s significant for a number of reasons! 1. Dates are a fruit mentioned multiple times in the Quran (I believe about 20 times to be exact) & are symbols of holiness & health. It’s most famously mentioned in the Quran when Mary was advised to eat dates while in labor with Jesus, to ease childbirth. It’s health benefits in child birth & pregnancy is researched in modern times to be true, as experiments have also shown that dates contain stimulants that strengthen the muscles of the uterus which helps the dilation of the uterus at the time of delivery and reduces bleeding. 2. They are believed to have astounding health benefits when breaking fast, as the Prophet Mohammed SAW mentioned that one should eat 7 dates for breakfast to protect one from illness as well as eat 3 when someone breaks their fast in Ramadan (this is researched in modern times to be true, as breaking fast with dates is significant to restore blood sugar levels/boost immunity & are a vital boost of nutrients after fasting/long periods of not eating) 3. Dates during the time of the Prophet SAW had lots of regional significance to the Arabs in the Middle East, but they are now also seen as a symbol of unity between Muslims all across the world that practice the same traditions of Prophet SAW. It’s universal among all Muslims & in my opinion a very beautiful Islamic tradition.
