To hear the guy DUKE speak on Gender Roles was so amazing to me. The boldness of standing up to his brief when EVERYONE had already agreed that "he m Gender Roles should be thrown out the window. " I LOVE IT! GREAT JOB, DUKE!!!

Yes @Duke conversation on gender roles 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Yes we do need them because it creates balance and clarity. Two people can’t succeed in a relationship without those two. Can’t have two ppl boarding a ship and both are thinking they’re the captain. Once we have direction and life start lifing then we may change direction slightly and those roles are adjusted but the foundation is still there.

I'm genuinely thrilled for @Duke, seeing him finally receive the recognition he truly deserves. He and the remarkable men he associates with embody the essence of black excellence. Equally, it's heartening to witness a collective of accomplished black individuals across various domains, who either count themselves as friends or have forged genuine friendships, all thriving independently of their partners. It's refreshing to see such independence and confidence among these individuals. Too often, I've encountered people who exhibit extreme co-dependency. Witnessing Duke and his circle navigate their relationships with such respect and autonomy is truly inspiring.

I really enjoyed this conversation. It was healthy and it’s informative and entertaining.BUT on 25:14 to say someone with no friends is a red flag is a red flag or not healthy. Please realize there’s people out here who don’t have that life experience or was last with a community. Using myself and my life experiences as an example may not having. “ friends” doesn’t make me a bad person just changing my circle and changing the people around me because I’ve outgrown those friendships. And desire to live different experiences.

I disagree with the gender roles. We have different biology for a reason: the real propaganda is believing men are women and women are men. Glad DUKE SPOKE UP!
@me-kl5yp9 ай бұрын
But gender roles have nothing to do with the biological, and everything to do with the social. Gender roles are / were SOCIALLY created, not predetermined by one’s biology.

Love the gender role conversation. I been surrounded by black men that were catered to by their moms. They expect that same catering from their women with no catering to the women in return. Huge turn off. Relationships are partnerships not dictatorships. I do not want the relationship my parents had. I need better.

Stop the madness...Even in a Same sex/gender Relationship..someone is the general err day top/bottom/giver/receiver...Gender Roles are important because they provide clarity without Clarity you have Confusion which brings Conflict which brings Competition which brings Contempt! We are asking/begging for trauma/trouble if we keep pushin' for this madness/narrative! #My2Cents
