What struck me most was the phrase "lack of agency " and the fact that most of us do not begin to understand what it is like to be utterly dependent on others and to have no hope.

For anyone like Dinesh, who feel it unfair to have a partner that must also be a caregiver, I would encourage you to watch the "Squirmy and Grubs" KZbin channel. They have a different and inspiring perspective on this subject.

We just had the worst experience taking my 99 yr old war widow aunt to a sunshine coast private hospital. They treated her with the utmost disrespect. men had their hands all over her. Starved and dehydrated. She never stood a chance. her rights were non existent. We were helpless to stop what was happening and were also treated with arrogance and foul attitudes.
