Having prospect chat and armchair so close together just make me want you guys to do a special episode where you bicker about where every prospect should slide into our team of the future assuming they reach their potential and build lines and Dpairs as well as a solid tandem. I’m glad that the podcast went through all the possibilities if Sprong manages to stick with the team when Dunn returns. Most likely though Sprong is just here for a good time, not a long time. Unless Sprong’s point production goes off the charts, which it likely won’t as a mid-season addition lacking chemistry with his most common former linemates (Geekie and Donato) moved along. I looked back at a video of all Sprong’s Kraken goals from his best season here and while there were the product of unquestionable skill on Sprong’s part, his linemates that year really knew how to work with him and set him up.

For whatever reason this team gets complacent. Make them work for their spots, skate their asses off if they take a night off. Fucking motivate these guys however you need to. Burakovsky, Bjorkstrand, Tolvanen all are nonexistent
