@@bl4de938well I feel like it’s the same sort of thing as the plastic bumpers I use on my 180, they’re cheap so I can replace them when they break. But that’s the point of those bumpers, they don’t look that good, but they’re cheap and you can just throw them on when you buy one, the 3d printed bumper doesn’t make any sense, the amount of work you need to do just to make one defeats the point of the cheap plastic bumpers, so i don’t really know why he’s done this.

I somehow missed that you only backed most of the bumper with a layer of fibreglass in the previous videos. I could've sworn you had it both front and back faces. Unlike the shoulda-oughta-nancies in the comments, I still appreciate the Zero-Effs-Given with your one off prototype bumper. Screw the rest of 'em. Go have fun with it, before you pause to make the mold that'll make the better part! --- Whatever mod you end up doing to stiffen the splitter, test and see how it acts at different speeds again. You had it at a resonant frequency at 75 mph... after your work to stiffen it up, it's pretty likely you'll shift the resonant frequency, and it'll occur at a different speed. Changing how the splitter is mounted up will change the overall frequency the resonance will occur. But, it's possible it did resonate (with less amplitude) at a lower multiple of that frequency it vibrated @ 75 mph. Your changes might make one of those smaller resonances at lower speeds more noticeable. That's the reason I started with "test, plz".

love the car, and the bumper! I'm planning on doing a 3d printed bodykit of my own but i need to wait until i get a new 3d printer. I have a question though, i live in poland and some laws are different here and from what i've read you need a homologation if you create a custom bodykit. Do you need to do that too or is that not needed in america? If you do need a homologation in america, how did you go about it or are you waiting until you finish the whole bodykit to get it?
