Hmm 🧐 “Raid” ! Had a heck of time finding the proper as definition for “Raid” in the American 🇺🇸 Webster dictionary. I had to find the root word “Rad” that got me European n Australian useage .. Interesting how different words develop n change in each country/society. When I was a youth (well over a half century ago) I had an English pen pal. She used words like bobby, cinema, bonnet n so on. My mom n grandma are English so had to get them to interpret for me. I finally learned all those “lemony” words as mom called them. Love 💕 watch all your video n learning new words n term. Cheers Mate … Nick.

Looked like a lovely few days sailing and camping with a few other boaties, I can't think of a better way to spend a few days. As a fellow Cherry 16 owner I wish your mate Dave had a channel showing his boat and sailing it. I only just got my Cherry and haven't sailed her yet, need to do a few things first, sort out a lifting set up for the centerboard and a couple of other things, "Agrandoply" is living at my mother in laws house up on the Murray river about an hour away, so I'm a bit slow on getting the work done. How risky do you think it would be to take a small boat like yours..., or maybe a couple of feet longer..., ISLAND HOPPING from say south Japan to north or central Taiwan or..., south Taiwan to north Philippines ? I am in Iceland and am able to travel overland or sea all the way to South Japan by presently operational commercial ferry, or rail but there is no commercial connection between the two aforementioned points.

Hi Roy well that's a big ask, I don't really think the Stornaway is good for ocean going voyages, but it can handle 30 knots with just the genoa and main. If you picked your weather maybe.
