Great comparison vid. For me: super p > d roc > ng2
@Facu_Roldan Жыл бұрын
D-roc -> ng -> super p. The super p sounds a bit darker compared to the other two, and I think that's because of the shorter scale length. Too bad they don't make those 34"-37" just like most dingwalls.

Considering they have the same pickups is it weird that I though the NG sounded a lot better than the D-Roc?

They’re not the same pickups tho! Magnets are different

Why does everybody like these bases so much? Seems to be a big following behind them.

It's the multi scale for metal bass playing. Retains a really nice low B sits at 35+in and the D string sits about 33/34in. Just good basses for drop tuning. I myself am not a huge fan. I'll stick with schecter.
@Bobby_Uterus Жыл бұрын
@@coreyu4590 ah so they are kinda geared toward metal? Never was a big fan of how they looked. Would like to try one out though to see how they play.
@davedixon2167 Жыл бұрын
@@Bobby_Uterus They got big on metal, but see our video of Dingwall:Not just for metal to see them in RnB and other styles. Plus Lee Sklar is one of their biggest endorsers.

Wow, a lot of hate, maybe somebody needs to get laid. Not a big fan of the Dingwall I'm kinda old school, but there are other basses then Fender P basses and I have two a 81 and a 2021. Along with 77 J and 92 J. A 66 Gibson EB-0 and a 69 EB-3 an Epiphone Thunderbird and a some cheaper Ibanezs and Squiers what ever floats your boat and gets the job done, just do your thing.

I've never have bought a bass made in China and never will. All my bases in my collection are non Chinese. I try not to buy communist Chinese products as much as possible. 🙂👍

The only thing I've played that came close to how good my NG3 plays was a musicman, and I'd still back my Dingwall, unless we are going £4k+. Super versatile, comfortable, sounds great, tuning stability like you wouldn't believe! To each their own and if they arent the bass for you that's fine, but they shouldn't be sneered at for being manufactured in China
