You forgot something pretty important, pasta water needs salt. Most of the time abroad the pasta water is not salted and it doesn't taste good. BTW patatine fritte sulla pizza buonissime! 😂

Hey! I giapponesi sbucceranno i frutti❣️ Mele, pere, pesche, kiwi..(ma non l’uva!!) 🍏🍐🍑🥝....sempre sbucciate, incuneate o tagliate. È considerato quasi “incivile” servire i frutti non pelati a qualcuno...😅 E li messo in una ciotola (preferibilmente di vetro..) con una forchetta da dessert o almeno, uno stecchino (non mangiare con le dita..) 🥣 ....sempre in questo modo...😊

Ok Fil, lo ammetto, un paio di cose mi hanno causato un mezzo infarto ma mai...MAI, come la foto di quel caffè! Ahahah! Non so da dove nasca l'idea del parmigiano sulla pasta con le cozze/vongole, forse pensano che essendo due cibi italiani, allora, debbano per forza andare assieme...boh! Non mi voglio interrogare sul ketchup con la pasta... Non ho ben capito la cosa della frutta xD cioè...è un male pelare la frutta? xD P.s. Credo che la cosa più strana che abbia mai visto e che mi fa anche un po' senso sia vedere la gente pranzare con la pasta o un hamburger e bere, al posto di qualsiasi tipo di bevanda, il cappuccino...brrr! dalla foto poi non è che rende, ma l'ho dovuto fotografare per ricordarmi veramente quanto era cattivo. Il formaggio e il pesce non lo so neanch'io... forse si, è così haha. Actually in these days it is becoming normal to find tap water in restaurants but you still have to pay fot that. It doesn't seem to make any sense but I think it's because it is filtered so you're paying for the filter.

I haven't had this experience but maybe it's just because I got so used to not asking for it. That's just crazy! surely it's a fraction of the price but still, charging for tap water is insane haha

I know it's rude to ask for a doggie bag for leftover, but would the waiter get mad if I cut a tidbit for my cat and put it in my bag before I begin to eat my fish? I'm probably more afraid of my cat, so it's okay if he thinks I'm weird, I just don't want him to spit in my food. Next, would he get upset if I ask to buy a bottle of water to go? And can I drink water while outdoors, looking at shops?

With the water I remember learning a lot of old plumbing in Italy had lead in it. That may be where using bottled water over tap water came from.
