Hey, how much time before your reservation did you arrive at the Burj, because we are also thinking of arriving early checking out the lobby, getting something from the cafe then going to Sal. Also was there a minimum spend when you bought your drinks from the lobby? Thanks 😊

Hi! I think 30 minutes to an hour should be enough time to check out the lobby area. I’m pretty sure you can visit the lobby after your reservation at SAL too. There was a minimum spend at SAL. At the time, it was 150 aed. I’m not sure if there is a minimum spend for drinks in the lobby. I hope you have a great time!

Thanks for watching! You just need to make a reservation with SAL restaurant or any other restaurant that you'd like to visit. There was a minimum spend per person at SAL. If I remember correctly, it was 150 aed. If you're celebrating a special event, be sure to tell them when you make the reservation. Hope you enjoy your visit next month!

I tried booking restaurant on the hotel website (other than Sal) but not able to get through. Do you mind sharing the link? Also, is there a time limit that you can hang around their hotel lobby or their beach club?

It might be better to call the Burj al Arab and then they can connect you to the restaurant that you'd like to make the reservation with. ([phone]) I don't remember there being a time limit on how long you can hang out in the lobby. For the pool area, there is a fee for accessing it, but if you are eating at Sal I believe it is possible to take a few photos outside of the restaurant next to the pool.

I was able to go inside the main lobby by only having a reservation at SAL. This was 2 years ago though, so I’m not sure if it’s still the same.

Yes, we were able to explore the lobby of the Burj al Arab with just lunch reservations at Sal.
