1. No instinct to procreate, just a primitive urge to mate. 2. We learn gender roles from society, such as to have children. 3. There is not a biological clock to have children, only culture. 4. Ethics of childbirth is: death, disease, and suffering (of the planet too). 5. We are aware of our mortality, so live is one-way trip to the end. 6. Our we obliged to create life for what it has to offer? Decision matrix. 7. Family blood line obligation? 8. Environmentally conscientious avoiding overpopulation. 9. Isn't life miserable contradicts here.. reminder to your philosophy. If life has struggle & misery then why to marry even; take a cloth & move to pilgrims for blissful & no responsibility life. Actually if bringing a life in this world is crime then Dinks can adopt & give a suitable life to already existential beings. But they will not, because taking responsibility is what they are running away behind all these big claims. Adopt, adopt, adopt or just shut your mouth & don't preach.

Of course we are not going to adopt. Please think a moment about the meaning and etymology of the word "childfree". Compare it with "lead-free", or "sugar-free".
