Yakutia has short but hot summers. In the end of summer we harvest vegetables from our garden. I want to share with you the recipe of meat with potatoes and vegetables
My family is big and we eat a lot 😅 especially boys 😬 This dish is tasty and nourishing ☺️ It takes time to cook, but totally worth it.
Ingredients:
Potatoes - 2-3kg;
Squash - 1 kg;
1 onion;
1 carrot;
Meat - 800 g;
Proportions can be any - also you may add whatever you want.
P.S. don’t forget to add some water for potatoes to be cooked 😄
Have a nice day and enjoy the video☺️

Incase anybody wondering how does this stew taste like well I've been to Kyrgyzstan and Northern Kazakistan and Russia and was lucky to eat these kind of traditional dishes. It tastes great cause the meat and veggies are natural and sadly we don't have meat or veggies that tastes so good. If you travel to Siberia Kyrgyzstan Kazakhstan Türkmenistan Azerbaijan Uzbekistan or rural Russia you will be shocked to see the difference between the industrial food we eat and the real natural food those people eat. Even the eggs taste differently. I still remember the eggs I ate in Uzbekistan which tastes totally different than western industrial market eggs. Vegetables and meat taste a lot different too in those countries. If you have a chance you should all visit Yakutia or any Central Asian countries and taste the real natural food.

Yes I agree. I was surprised how aromatic many fruits are when I traveled to relative in Russia. Strawberries and peaches have so much taste there. In Germany where I live Strawberries taste like water, even the ones that you get from the market.

@@LifeinYakutia there are people called Melungeons (Meluncan in Turkish) in the USA. There are 2 theories about Melungeons they are either children of some migrants from Turkey or they are believed to be children of very early migrants from Siberia which used ships to migrate to American continent. Also native American languages have many common words with Turkish such as Tepe which means hill or top and also means the traditional native American tents. Korean and Japanese also have the same Tepe word. Elvis Presley was also a Melungeon you can easily see the Siberian genes from his face. Melungeons are probably a mix of Siberian people with European Americans.

You might be related to Melungeons of USA, there is a Melungeon Heritage Association in the USA which you might be able to have more info about your roots.

Great video! I wish I could join you. Do you put peelings and kitchen scrap back into the soil? (Co.post) You are so right, a lot of work to prepare a healthful meal, but so worth it. Being together as family adds delight to the experience. Is that cilantro or parsley on the top of each serving?

Beef stew is a very common meal in the USA but we probably put in more carrots and we usually don't add in squash. Also, we would use a packet of beef stew seasoning that we buy at the store and when we eat it we would have a slice or two of bread with butter on it. When I make it I put it all in my Crock Pot (electric heating pot) at night when I go to bed and set it on 10 hours of cooking time so it's ready the next morning so I can have it for lunch.
