I wish society still cared about elegance. Formal dresswear is a dying breed, and knowledgeable people with passion such as this fine gentleman right here lack more of these passions and careers by the hour, and less opportunity for their work to be worn. Regardless of age or design, the era of sophistication and class that has existed until very recently is at dire need of a return, and fellows like this keep the living art alive. Bravo.

I agree about your thought on elegance. I was at a works Christmas party in 2019. The ladies looked fabulous, but the men looked like they were at a supermarket. M.

as far as 2019-2021 goes "all dressed up and nowhere to go" seems to be the idiom. cant go out, constant lockdown also its expensive enough just getting to london, let alone to savile row.

@@MACE_HINDU I think it's China's (genius for their economy) ethos to have lower quality products. They created a price over quality consumer. Less thought about how well something is made and will last- at least with fashion. Cause of cheaper alternatives.

Havent seen a single breasted 4 button suit with dove tails for less portly more slim fit for a man who can use his muscles to fit a suit roomy enough to run 100 meter dash yet cut quite well enough to act as a second skin. contemplating what pockets should look like single stripe suit with an elegant mandella under the right breast and something soft as wool at the nape of the neck and vents on the side of the jacket to make accessing pockets sleek. possibly herring bone fabric just thick enough to wear alone in winter very square in the shoulders

His custom tailoring uses over 130 hours of labour to produce. From what I can gather, it can be priced in the 10's of thousands of dollars, especially when dealing with someone like Maurice. People that graduate his classes get commissions from $15,000 to over $30,000 for their suits. Unless you plan to spend a new cars worth of money on a single suit, I don't think you're the crowd he's going for.
