@@dinnerpartytonight ok, here's where I get confused: charger plates? Martha says in a little good things booklet you can wrap cut lemon in cheesecloth for with a pretty tag for place cards. Do we need these? Then you stab them with oyster fork. (Oh..) She also makes radish mice...Champagne goes with everything ? Medium sweetness or brut? Rose goes with everything? I don't want to do anything wrong, I am 51 years old, but my mother Never entertained. Never.

Well…you CANT make a mistake if you truly want to make your friends comfortable and welcome!! Like we say on the show: you can order Chinese and make people still feel special. Charger plates not necessary…they go UNDER the plate people eat off of but SOMETIMES for buffet you can use a huge plate because people are sampling lots of food. Don’t bother with cut lemons with tags…or radish mice…just consider what YOU would want to feel comfortable and happy!! If you drink make sure there’s plenty of drinks…and yes rose goes with most things. I don’t drink sweet drinks so i would always say brut and DONT BUY VEUEVE CLIQUOT….they are banking on people recognizing the orange label and are WAAAYY over priced. Prosecco is great too! Monetto is a dry and delicious brand. REMEMBER DENISE!!: you CANNOT fail if you really want to welcome your friends into your house…you are a host…go! Host!!
