i lived for Madonna! You have no idea! I was a superfan! I remember this coming out. I graduated high school in 1991. I remember running home early from school so I could see the Like A Prayer video premiere. I remember looking at the clock in class and it saying 2:45PM and I ran home fast to see the video. Her music is the soundtrack of my life. That said, I haven't really liked her music since 2005. I buy her CD's still but it will have maybe a few songs I like or just one I really like. Now she's just kinda out there with the filters and trying to look and dress like a Bratz doll. I don't recognize that fearless Madonna anymore. Times change I guess. We all change with age. I know I have and she has too.
@MARS0l2 жыл бұрын

I so agree with you. Since 2005(I don't think American Life is a good album, though I own it), I did not buy anything with her music until Rebel Heart came out, which I think is a decent album. Nothing after that. I really thought that she was going to age gracefully and would mature with motherhood and so forth. I remember that back in the day even her opponents couldn't keep their eyes of her and would hum her songs. With all her new antics, it seems that even her most loyal fans are turning their backs on her. Madonna is single handedly destroying her legacy. I recently saw Strike a Pose, a documentary that's a follow-up to Truth or Dare but only with the dancers. If you have not seen it, you should. But to your point, yes, Madonna does not seem fearless anymore. With age she seems to be afraid of what's coming next, in more ways than one. I look at Cindy Lauper and see how beautiful and radiant she looks.
