They took $30 dollar dlc and slapped it together with a $30 unbalanced, again not tested, lack of content multi-player and called it a game. The fact there's no mercenaries which would've taken what, like a weekend to program in it shows that fact. Seriously

@@youngchristopher14 so this games better than RE2 remake to you I take it. All you gotta do is compare both games offerings. Both $60 bucks. One gives you essentially 4 playthroughs to get the entire story. The other has one short story with no variation. One has extra modes post game that unlock the other does not. One game gave us free dlc such has ghost survivors and more customs the other does not. The shop in RE3 remake is clearly for mercenaries and it just didn't make the final cut. The orginal you would beat faster times and kill more enemies to get the most points per run and that's exactly what the shop looks like it's for. You can send me all the videos or articles you want but the RE3 remake feels like $30 dlc man compared to RE2 remake or even the original if you ask me

I just realized that Dino Crisis is almost like an RPG where you make the choices and Regina just does what you input into the game. Kind of like silent protagonists but she still talks. And it works so well.

From the perspective of a composer; Dino Crisis’ soundtrack is a very carefully constructed kind of “controlled chaos”, where every clashing note or nutty composition is intended by design. It’s very cleverly put together, but yeah, the end result is... divisive. Hell even though I appreciate the craft, I’m not particularly keen on the end result. Broadly speaking, the folks most likely to get something out of it are other musicians/composers who can wankily go “oh i do like the use of scales in this part of the arrangement” etc. etc., or people who are already into experimental and abstract ‘orchestral’ music to begin with. I respect the bold ass choice to go in that direction to begin with, though.

Yeah no kidding I got really scared by the trex window jump-scare when I was 5 ish at the time with my CRT TV and it wasn’t exactly big either so I had the knack to get up from my bed and close to it to see the polygons real pro gamer strats lol. Anyways I got up to see the numbers for the box I was so happy I figured out the numbers were upside down so I was about to take a victory run away from the box and before I could even react the BOOM got the soul scarred right out of me and I didn’t touch the game until I was 10 but I was still suffering from PTSD. So I was 10 and I booted up the game again thank god I still had it and my PS2 ran like a dream too. The other terror I would soon encounter was the damn puzzles (surprise, surprise). Sure hindsight these puzzles aren’t too tough, hell even some adults can solve these puzzles decently. When your that young and still naive and innocent the puzzles can really make or break the experience or pace of the game. Long story short I came back when I was 12 ish and the puzzles weren’t as bad maybe because I read everything or my brain developed more seeing trends I wouldn’t even think of previously

I’m just imagining they move that jumpscare of the Raptor jumping through the window. Like you think it’s gonna be the same window, but instead a bird crashed into it and cracks the glass. But then you run past it and then like 3 windows down a Raptor jumps through and tackles you 😂 epic! But I think they should keep the choices is in the game if they do a remake, but I’d prefer it be a REMASTER. Enhanced graphics and maybe an added mechanic or two. But core gameplay remains untouched.

My brother and me sent Capcom a mail 1-3 years ago and asked why they can't just release the old PC games on Steam, but we never received a reply, of course :( I wish Capcom would care more about certain stuff. No it's a native PC release. PC release only came out in Japan though. And back during the Win 98 days. I don't know about the recording but the classic rebirth patch allows you to select full screen when you configure the settings when prompted as you open the exe file. So if you're not using the sourcenext version with CR patch maybe try that.

How about they create the extra bonus content skin first. Then have it in the game at launch day? I don't want to pay more for less arriving as an incomplete product. Perhaps someone can help me... I have a sourcenext AND mediakite of Dino crisis. They are ISO’s. If you extract it won’t work, the ISO has to be mounted in order to play, but when mounted you cannot at the dll to it.. what am I doing wrong..? What am I missing..? (Edit) Nevermind I got it. Lol

Shakedaddy4x So as I said before I couldn’t extract the files and then play the game. It had to be mounted and when I did that there was no “space” in the drive for anymore data. However, what ended up working WAS to extract the files from the iso and add the .dll to that folder. Then I COULD run the DINO.exe from that folder. It appears the .dll itself unlocks the ability to run the extracted executable instead of having to mount it.

Shakedaddy4x I pretty sure I extracted the Dino crisis [sourcenext] .iso With 7 zip, I think you can open it with winrar also; But yeah, if you have “7 zip” (if not a google search will do) right click the iso 7zip->extract to (file name) Then when you have that folder (same name as above for me) you can’t do anything with it....... until you put that dll in there, then u can boot it through the DINO.exe At least that’s how it worked for me, otherwise you have to mount the iso to a drive and then it’s in Japanese which is hard to play with different items that look the same but are different , you know? Lol

Just google "Dino Crisis SourceNext PC" literally the first link that came up for me (from archive org) then download the ISO. Then google Dino Crisis Classic Re Birth to find the mod authors site. The mod is literally a one file drag and drop to the games install dir. BTW you install the game by just double clicking the ISO and copying all the files to where you want to install the game.

What you think about the game? You like it? If you think its good, it got good reviews, with mods it can be maybe made better, like i thought would be nice if you dies from 1 hit from all raptors if you cant evade the hit, and you could kill em with 1-2 hits if you spend a second aiming or lucky or take more hitsi f oyu just start spraying, also inv wouldnt freeze time andthose meds would recover time, like it would take few mins to recover fully from zero, like cant stop game, go to inv, pop max hp, and continue, maybe each hit could also cause some dmg, like make em slower or something

Found it. Download the iso, mount it and just copy the iso contents into a new folder, archive.org/details/dinocrisis-sourcenext then just download classic rebirth patch and paste the extracted file into the new Dino crisis folder. You will then be prompted to set graphics, preferences and controller settings etc before playing.

@@adamfreeman1219 After you download the classic re birth DLL (just drag and drop it's 1 file into the install directory) Also don't forget to download the improved audio and video packs on the mods website appleofeden.de-doc.com/index.php/dino-crisis-classic-rebirth/ download the high quality videos, and ESP the high quality audio pack under the mods section (the PC version came with very low bit rate / quality audio this fixes that)

It was fun to watch an experienced player go through this game, given I've only finished it once and didn't remember that much about it. That being said, I wish you wouldn't quote the characters so much... It stopped being funny pretty quickly.

DC3 flopped because you had only one weapon, combat was pointless, the maze like ship was infuriating and platforming was near impossible due to the bad camera. Its funny because the game was beautiful and had great atmosphere when you weren't in combat. It had great potential but was executed so poorly.
