I know you might not read this, but I'm really impressed by your no damaged run. but for all enemies of the game you know you can press triangle and an arrow at the same time to do a Dodge like resident evil 3? You could have essentially use this to cheese the pterodactyl portions. Maybe it was less reliable to use in your playthrough tho. You could also hit left bumper to change your target so you don't have to re ready your weapon.

I know I'm late for the party but I just wanted to praise you on the playthrough of my childhood's favorite game. One hint for future runs: don't kill blue raptors with the anti-tank rifle. It uses a lot of bullets and you might get in trouble trying to group the pair together. Use the solid cannon instead. They get stun locked by the shockwave and you can use that to kill them easily and without wasting much ammo at all. I've played this game since I was 7 and it works consistently every single time 😁
@CarcinogenSDA2 жыл бұрын
I think the reason I used the AT rifle was because they had too much HP and that the stun proc on Solid Cannon didn't always work for me. Either way, if I ever revisit this, I'm not farming points anymore
@ieltsteacherdio2 жыл бұрын
@CarcinogenSDA ah yeah makes sense. My issue with the AT rifle is the long recoil it has. Sometimes the time it takes you to shoot one is the time for the other one to attack you. Blue raptors only happen if you get a combo of 20+ raptors in the room before. The solid Canon is a godsend and paralyses them whilst still allowing you to move and adjust your aim, or leave a shock wave behind you if you're getting chased, so they get stunned and you have time to retaliate. It's really an OP weapon but it's not my fault the game offers it right at the start xD

@CarcinogenSDA4 жыл бұрын
3 enemies spawn on screen max, you need 4-5 enemies killed depending on the room for the bonus
@angeldougan93344 жыл бұрын
@@CarcinogenSDA I know. the way I do that is I will run to the other side of the room and then I will constantly trigger the camera angles in each room until I either get bored with that room or I get low on ammo. The largest combo I have gotten doing that was 14. But basically, I will force the dinos to back me up against either a door or another object so that they can't possibly get behind me and then once they stop coming for a few seconds I'll move just enough to trigger the camera and make them spawn again. This is also why I was easily able to buy EVERY weapon in the game. Also, bought upgrades for all of them more because at that point why not?
@angeldougan93344 жыл бұрын
@@CarcinogenSDA The easiest way I have found to do that is to angle yourself so that you're in a position where you can constantly trigger the camera and at the same time you are in a position where they can't get behind you even if they jump out on one side or the other. Depending on the room layout I will either let them back me up against a door or a fence, or I will find a way to get above them then I just pick them off until they quit spawning. I then trigger the camera to reset the spawning until the room either just runs out of possible spawns before leaving the room

This and Resident Evil wear my favorite games as a kid. I'm so excited for RE3 remake. Re2 remake was awesome. How cool would it be if they redid this game?
